  1. H2odivers…Ray – I totally respect your point that pets means ‘all pets’. I absolutely believe rules in a civilized society are for everyone and I believe in following the rules. I have always told the CM during check-in that we have a cat and that it never leaves the RV and they’ve always said OK – I don’t know if that’s an official Disney policy or just the CM interpretation. I understand an allergy concern – I also have allergies – but I can state with absolute certainty our cat will never leave the RV. That’s kinda why I weighed in on this – looking for other guests opinions on a definition
  2. Just trying to avoid irresponsible dog owners who let their dogs bark at all hours, let them run loose, and who don't pick up after them... CV
  3. I love pets but hate irresponsible pet owners. My wife and I are in our mid-60s and we have had both cats and dogs, and we’ve been camping for almost 45 years so we’ve seen a lot of good and bad pet owners. I’d like to hear opinions from FF members – we currently travel with a 14 year old cat. I always ask for a loop that not a pet-loop. Years ago we were asked to sign the pet-agreement and we told the CM the cat will never leave the RV and they said no problem, but for our protection we should sign it. I can’t remember which trip we were on but I mentioned to the CM about non-pet loops (
  4. FYI, David Doss is at Epcot through Nov 6: Art of Disney, Epcot® from 1 pm – 9 pm This is a really great print - we have one in the camper and a signed print in the house to remind us of our next trip back to the Fort. During our trip in May I saw a camper at the Fort with a banner (IIRC, it was about 3' X 4') made from this print and I mentioned it to David Doss when he was at Epcot - he was not aware of copies being made. Campers, please respect the artist's copyright and if you really want to make a banner from the print please contact the artist to try to get his permission.
  5. I've been visiting the website for a while but just recently joined. We checked in yesterday at the Fort. Sent a fax last week requesting 1200 loop - Fax works. Arrived at 10:30 and site wasn't ready but to be expected - the Fort was almost 100% capacity. We have a cat and we were offered 400 loop right away but I asked to stay in 1200 and she said OK since it was an indoor cat. Went to overflow parking and it was packed - lots of small trailers I assume were for golf carts. Got a text at 11:40 with our site number - texting worked for us. We came for the Food and Wine Festival
