  1. My truck has done that regen crap a couple of times and it's just like when it says it's going into 5 mph mode when the def fluid is low but only the dealer can fix it.
  2. Fords....smh. They just can't get them straighten out. I've got a 2013 Dodge with the def and it will soon be gone. Diesels just can't run so restricted. I'm sure this is why the previous owner dumped it.
  3. Like Mo said a lot of people have jumped in the game. I stepped things up a notch recently by adding the nice camping world big chairs and a sleepmaster mattress that costs $500. I've always provided mat, awning lights, linens and a bunch of nice stuff. The latest I heard is you have to get added to a rez and the customer do online check in. It's definitely changed a lot recently. Not sure if they're trying to limit the amount of vendors or what. I personally am only taking 6 or more day customers so I'm not doing as much.
  4. I've only heard of two of these companies. As far as I see nothing has changed. I still call the same number and get a site about 1030 usually. One of the reasons I heard they were doing the meeting was because some of the companies weren't getting campers out until afternoon. I don't have this issue with one camper but those with many have to haul them to overflow then grave another one this causing them to be late getting out. The one thing about these people being called approved vendors is people think other companies aren't allowed to deliver which isn't true. These approved vendors get m
  5. We've had one for about a year. I decided the aluminum cart with built in cabinets was the best one to last. My friends think I'm a bbq master but really I just rub the butts pretty much. We've done pizzas as well and they're great. It's really hard to go out for bbq now because I critique the food and I'm like meh, it's ok but I can do better. A friend of mine and her brother are egg competition cookers. She's even got a controller that's hooked up to wifi to adjust the temp from her phone. Her brother is sponsored and has five of the large eggs on a trailer. Dambnest thing I've ever seen.
  6. I got to a continuing education class there every six months. They have some nice park models now that are like $150 a night. The cg is very shady. They have 2 hiking trails. One is pedestrian only and one allows bike's. The comfort stations aren't climate controlled but are clean. Theres an expressway not far from the campground that goes straight into the historical district. I recommend taking bike's. We just did this in November and my observation is that walking you may not see a lot and the tournament buses go quick and the guides sound like an auctioneer. The SCAD College area is beauti
  7. I know a lot of people who have moved on to other things because they got tired of paying high prices. I guess new people come along. Our stays at the fort are few because I'm not paying those prices. I usually just get a room now and it's cheaper. But on the other hand it's packed so somebody is willing to part with $150 than I am.
  8. I still say check out the Sailun tires. Very close to the Goodyear but at half the price. As long as you run ST tires you're chancing your safety and others around you. You can get 16" white spoke wheels for about $75.
  9. TPMS from what people are telling me is sometimes they work sometimes they don't. I had a friend say his temperature got funky right before a blow out and he stopped in time before damage. Right after he changed the tire not ten miles down the road boom with no warning the tire in front of it blew without notice and city the side off badly. So yeah he knew he had a flat but did it help by not giving notice it was going to blow? Bottom line IMO is if you're going to run an ST tire have good insurance. If your camper can handle them run a LT tire.
  10. What size camper do you have? One thing I will tell fifth wheel owners that have a lot of weight. Get the 235/85/16 load range G 14 ply tires. ST tires are nothing but junk. The sidewalls are weak and they're notorious for blowing and causing loads of damage. If someone would make a decent 15" tire for smaller campers that would solve a lot of problems. I guess that makes too much sense and people wouldn't buy tires as often. I bought the sailun brand and I feel much more at ease when I tow now.
  11. I renewed mine in October and my daughter's last night even though hers expired in November we didn't have any trips and I didn't see the discount making up for 2 months of her being absent. For many years we were annual passholders then seasonal. I'm just not going to be hot and in a crowd. I'm surprised to see the I'm not renewing crowd here. IMO the value isn't there. I figure we'll keep the seasonal pass and visit during less busy times. Someone is willing to keep shoveling it out bcuz they're still packed but just not me. I love the fort and Disney but we've kinda moved on to other hobbie
  12. I hope they ban ALL carts at the fort. Go back to a nice bike ride or walk.
  13. Ron is selling parts on eBay. He had a warehouse built behind his house. It's full of Chinese parts lol.
  14. If the lodge had them they could come over to the fort but it would still be the same rule for us. No carts going the other way.
