  1. This is from Adam the Woo's daily vlog channel on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ln9qkYKH8C0 Go to the 9:42 mintue mark.
  2. Here's the link to the podcast pooh4me wrote about before: http://podbay.fm/show/452620851/e/1408770060?autostart=1 Listen at 18:30, then again at around 39:25. The podcast is from this past August.
  3. Could it be the tour company has an abundance of Magic Bands that are pre-reserved and then when the family gets off the rides they switch up bands?
  4. How crowded do they get? Do you have to show up early to get a prime seating area or is there always good choices available?
  5. Carol, if you can, get a horse carriage ride around Central Park. It may become a thing of the past if the new mayor has his way. NYC is an awesome place to visit. I try to make at least one day trip there a year. The crowds can be crazy especially around Times Square and during the holidays., but there is so much to see and do. Have a great time!
  6. I've stayed there several times, in the cabins which are near the tracks. The trains didn't bother me much at all, as a matter of fact I'll be there Easter weekend. As far as I know there are two locations for tent campers, one near the creek and one on the hill near the tracks. If you think the trains will bother you request the creek side sites. I think it's a great campground with clean bathrooms, a nice pool and play areas for the kids, and free buses to Hershey Park.
  7. I guess what I'm trying to say is that The Fort seems to keep losing bits and pieces of itself, whether it's the lawnmower tree, log benches, covered wagons, or even River Country. This time it's losing bits and pieces for another resort. I just wonder how much more in the future The Fort will lose after this is built? I guess I'm afraid that the encroachment of this will set a precedent that The Fort is the resort that can be stepped on. I know there will be positives from this. I also don't think this is just for DVC. About the bus stop, I also agree that it will be the primary bus
  8. Is this Fort Fiends or DVC Friends? Maybe everyone's been drinking some Kool Aid, visiting Colorado, or getting paid off by Disney because you people have changed. First it's "no way, no DVC". Now it's "sign me up". Just because these plans show a resort that's really nice and fits in very well with the environment (would you expect anything less from Disney?) doesn't change the fact that it basically over runs, overshadows, and dominates The Fort. Who would want to stay in those 700 sites that butt up against that bus stop? I'm sure there will be a lot more bus traffic at that bus st
  9. Great TR as always, TCD, cant wait for the next one. Hopefully soon. Sorry to hear you had to miss the big game. I remembered in your last TR you posted pics of the check in materials. So I took a look to see the number for automotive assistance for future reference. Come to find out it's for the AAA Car Care Center. I guess in a way AAA helped you out after all. Too bad AAA doesn't realize they have AAA at WDW.
  10. Wouldn't there need to be a permit pulled for whatever work this could be? I know others have found permit information online for other Disney projects - just wondering if this could be found somewhere also.
  11. Not sure where Arcticfox read it, but I saw someone post something about construction at RC at that other site. Of course I didn't think much of it since the Fiends would have reported it.
