  1. I suppose they could have a bunch of popular reservations booked already--then when somebody pays them, they release it and quickly tell that person to go book it! Wow - people will think of everything, won't they?
  2. I'm glad it worked for you! I'm sure it's working for many people right now. But any business that profits from Disney's systems is viewed by Disney as being illegal, and they are getting their legal department involved with these companies now. What we are hearing is that companies like that are using bots to do the searching and Disney is cracking down. I was just passing on a warning, so Fiends don't end up losing money. :)
  3. Just a heads up -- There are many services out there that offer to get dining reservations for you. They will charge a fee per reservation and then work on getting these for you. They also will book reservations and then sell the reservations to individuals, basically by cancelling and rebooking (of course no guarantees). These are illegal. Work with these companies at your own risk. Disney is cracking down on them and you may end up getting caught in a mess, or at the very least, losing your reservations and your money. With the "My Disney Experience" app on phones and iPads, it's easy to
  4. We're in site 535 this weekend. It's raining, but that doesn't keep Papa and our grandson, Kilian, from trying to catch the big one out back! All they've caught so far is a tiny turtle. LOL
  5. I'd love to help you plan your cruise, if you're looking for help! DH and I are Diamond on Royal Caribbean, and we've also sailed many times with Disney, Celebrity and NCL. We're going on our first Princess cruise next week! If you book the cruise through me (and Travel On A Dream) you'll get an onboard credit, in addition to the lowest price that is available! Once you book, I keep watching for new price drops and discounts that I can have applied to your reservation too. And, I don't charge any fees for my services! Feel free to email me for a quote (or quotes), or if you just have quest
  6. Woo-hoo! We must have Pixie Dust flying through our air this morning! I was able to get a site for Betsy, and Bob got a site too!! :D :D Anyone else still looking for January? I'm on a roll! LOL
  7. Now that I have your attention (lol).... If you're thinking of going on a cruise from now through next year, October is definitely the time to book it! For all cruises booked through me--this month only--Travel on a Dream will give you a free bottle of wine in your stateroom! This is in addition to the normal onboard credit that you always receive when you book through us, and it's also in addition to the promotions offered by the cruise lines during National Cruise Vacation Week! The cruise must be booked before the end of October, and is good for cruises beginning before December 31, 2013.
  8. People, what we have here is a failure to communicate! lol
  9. You've probably seen this in the news in the last couple of days, so I just wanted to share my experience and thoughts..... Recently, Southwest Airlines announced a one-day “Flash Sale” to its Facebook fans. 50% off flights, on certain late summer and fall dates. The response was so overwhelming, that it crashed Southwest’s system, and as a result, thousands of customers were charged multiple times for the same reservation, and many more people never received confirmations for the flights they did book during the sale. It was a mess, to say the least. I had the latter happen to me. I booke
  10. Yes! Every counter that has a fountain pop machine will give free glasses of ice water! They don't mind, and are usually happy to do it! Another thing to consider is that pure water is the best for you. We found that out the hard way a couple of weeks ago when DH developed a kidney stone. He works outside all day in the FL heat, and gets dehydrated easily. We fell for the advertisements that say that Gatorade and similar drinks are better for you, because they replenish the minerals that you lose by sweating. What we didn't know is that those minerals will stack up in your kidneys and ca
  11. I'm sure that's where the difference is. :)
  12. Hi everyone! Disney opened up 2013 today! Packages and room (site) only reservations can be made, up to 499 days in advance. The AAA discounts were released today too! Email me if you'd like a quote, or if you'd like me to reserve your campsite or room for next year! Remember, the holiday weekends fill up quickly! [email protected] :)
