  1. 6 people! Great news, we are leaving MK, just had lunch at BOG and the kids want to swim.
  2. We are on 1436 till Monday. It is definitely crowded! Parks are packed. Almost got into a fist fight at MK when some crazed parents and grandparents put their hands on my kids at electrical parade but that's another whole thread.
  3. You all have listed some of the same reaons we have. But there is a nostalgia about the fort, the way it feels when you pull in and the guard says welcome home, the kids so excited to get to the trading post, all the memories that have been made there at the fort come rushing back, there's nothing like it. For us it's the only place to stay at Disney!
  4. We just got back yesterday from 10 days at the Fort and already counting down the days till our November return! We have a 5th wheel and a Dodge Ram 3500 Dually crew cab currently and considering upgrading to a motorhome. The three kids 13,9,6 start to get a little squirrelly after 7-8 hours in the back seat and I think some room to breathe may help. To all fiend motorhome owners what are good brands, sizes, what to look for in a used coach. Just starting to look around and I see the ford v10 chassis is a popular setup for the price range that I am looking at, although I would like a diesel.
  5. We have been 4 times to the fort and have not had a golf cart any of those trips. We will have a cart for our upcoming Sept 12-21 trip for the first time. We have 3 children and I am sure they will love the cart and it will make some things easier but it is doable without a cart.
  6. We are looking at new 5th wheels and really like the Gateway 3650bh just curious if there are any owners or heartland rv owners in general in the group?
  7. Way to go! I have lost 150lbs and it was just making up my mind to change my eating habits and lifestyle. I now run every other day sometimes every day. Road bike a lot and just try to be more active. I used my fitness pal in the beginning. Lots of water and no soft drinks. It's as much mental as physical when losing weight. Set small realistic goals and meet them and then set another. I had a close call with what I thought was a heart attack and it made me get busy. 3 kids need me around for a while, I hope! Keep up the good work, keep us updated!
  8. Wow that's a sweet ride! Could put in over on the beach at the bike barn at the fort. It would look like a u boat makin rounds.
  9. Just called to update my September reservations and the AAA discount that was in place already was much better than the 15% off for AP. Thanks! Shawn Dallas GA 2006 Cougar 281EFS 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 CC DRW 6.7 CTD
  10. Ahh the lips! Him and Noah need to go on tour! They know how to charm the princesses! Can't wait to see what happens with Ariel!
  11. I reserved September 12th-21st I think it was around 32$ a day.
  12. Great TR Kelly! We did the same thing our last trip for mine train. We are up your way camping this weekend at Shady Grove. Very last minute trip!
