With many thanks to Fiend on the Scene Dave, these drink/snack carts have popped up at the Fort recently - one across from Pioneer Hall and the other at the Marina. From info I've seen elsewhere, CMs have said that they're here to stay, at least for now. Outside HDDR At the Marina, not open tonight. Might be weather dependent.

Has anyone been able to snag a AAA discount at the Fort for 2015 yet? Or for any other resort? Once again there are rumors swirling that they are going away, but there's been no confirmation of that by anyone official. If you hear anything, or better yet get any info firsthand, please let folks know.

Since we have a bunch of Fiend families headed to the Fort in the coming weeks, I thought it would be great if those there now could give us real time reports on which loops/sites seem to be the most decorated. And if you can throw in some photos to boot - BONUS POINTS! :) Also for those of us not able to get to the Fort for the holidays, we could use a little dose of that fantastic Fort holiday cheer!

Hey everybody! Bookmark this page... http://www.fortfiends.net/_/news/ I've been posting news tidbits in threads here, but they get buried pretty quickly because you all are so terrific about being active and posting (YAY!!) So I'm going to start posting news articles in the News section of the Info side of the site. That will make it really easy to find all the "latest and greatest" in one place quickly, and will also help the site by building up the content on that side. I'll still post "heads up" threads on this side to let you know when a news article comes through, and will link you over

I haven't seen this map anywhere before. It was supposedly put together after the last big round of site renovations at the Fort and even indicated Pet Loops. I've also linked the Site Classifications Page to this map along with the Fort Transportation Map.

ETA: Updating the thread title since this rumor has been confirmed (below) Heard a rumor that Fort management is telling people they will be getting 6 seater carts for rentals sometime in 2012. Anybody heard anything "from the horse's mouth" on this?

Just added the first of a BUNCH of new content I've got in the works for the website side of things. First off there are some new menus posted on the MENU GUIDE page, including counter service and snack locations. There's also a new Fort Wilderness laundry facility page with hopefully all the info you'd ever want to know about such a topic. :) If you haven't checked out the Site Map lately, or are looking to see what information we have on the site so far, you can find it all HERE.
