You haven't met Brian I take it?   TCD

Mo > WDWMagic   TCD

The 11th and 12th I think are the Night of Joy but the other additional September dates are probably correct.

From the Disney Parks Blog...

Even though it’s still hot in Central Florida, autumn is in the air! I’ve been looking forward to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party since Shawn Slater announced the new “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” on the Disney Parks Blog in May.

With the first party just around the corner on September 15, I wanted to share a sneak peek of the creepy confections available exclusively during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party:

Don’t worry, this vanilla treat won’t give you nightmares. He’s actually quite sweet.

Freshly-baked and festively decorated, you’ll want to sink your teeth into this sugar cookie.

This isn’t a trick, the cone is filled with candy corn!

Ghost Cupcake, Gaston’s Tavern

This chocolate cupcake is topped with buttercream icing, chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs, and a marshmallow ghost – spooky sweet!

Candy Corn Cotton Candy, outdoor vending throughout the park

Orange, pina colada and original sugar-flavored cotton candy will satisfy your sweet tooth.

Which treat are you looking forward to trying at this year’s Halloween Party?

People are more apt to purchase a cupcake then an entire cake or even a piece of cake.

They are easier to eat sometimes.

They have been the 'IN' food for a couple of years at least, due to TV and celebrities.

Seems like the fancy designs would be labor intensive, but I guess to a well trained decorator it's no big deal.

They hold up better than ice cream while walking around.

Easier on your fillings than candy or caramel covered apples!

Can't do a lot of decorating on a donut or cookie.

And like TCD said, low cost to make, huge markup and profits!
