I may have asked this question before, but if so I have missed the responses.  I bought a couple rolls of tape a few years ago to cover the seams of my then Itasca Suncruiser.  Looking at the job I decided a 2 inch instead of a 4 inch width would cover nicely.  I sliced one roll of the tape lengthwise and used half to fix the passenger side roof seam.  I have kept the other 4 inch roll and now may have a use for it...the driver's side seam.  Question:  How long does unused tape last, or is there a use-by consideration?

How long does EternaBond® last?

Because EternaBond® is made using MicroSealant Technology®, depending on surrounding conditions, EternaBond® has an estimated life expectancy of 18-35 years if applied correctly. The "pre-activated" shelf life of EternaBond®, stored correctly, is 5 years!

What happens is the edge of the tape on a role attaches to the edge of the layer below and it becomes impossible to unroll it to use.

You throw it in the nearest trash can.
