My family had planned a long weekend camping trip for this weekend but the weather looks horrible here. We are in SC. The forecast looks better toward FL. Maybe the Jax/st. Augustine area. The only place we have camped In fl is the fort so we are looking for somewhere north of the fort for a nice long weekend. I know it has gotten so hard to just show up somewhere but if any of you have any suggestions of places where it will not rain that is near that area we would love to hear them! It's above Jacksonville and its on the Atlantic and the St Mary's River.I've never been there, but the guy I bought my BAL leveler had been there and said it was nice. TN22.....Brady 22 Posted October 1, 2015 Report Share Posted October 1, 2015 Our stopover on our last trip to the Fort was the KOA in St Mary's/North Jacksonville. It was a nice park and appeared to have several folks staying longer than an overnight stop. There was a lot of things to do in the immediate area according to the brochures. The sites towards the back of the park seemed to have more room and the sites on the first 3 rows were more for the overnighter. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
