We stayed here with our homeschool group a couple of weekends ago.  These pictures are from the East Rim CG (the West Rim CG layout is different...not open, there's a lot more foliage between the sites and the roads are bit more windy).   Sites in the East Rim were level and it worked wonderful for our group, as we could see each other.  Water and electric only (no full hook-up sites) however... grey tank dump/drain stations were close by so that was helpful.  There is a full dump station on your way out of the park.  Price was $33/night.  Bathhouse was clean.  Each site has a picnic table, charcoal grill and fire pit (although some of the fire pits were in really strange places).   The East Rim had a nice little playground (not sure about the West Rim) and the canyon is beautiful and worth the hike however, the trail itself is very rocky and a lot of roots so, careful stepping is required.
