Walt Disney World Raises The Price Of Memory Maker Beginning Immediately

Beginning immediately today on June 7, 2017, the price of the Memory Maker packages at Walt Disney World has been raised.

For those looking to purchase the Memory Maker packages, there are always two options and that remains exactly the same. The only things that have changed at this time are the prices of the options.

If purchasing Memory Maker in advance, it will now be a price of $169 for guests where it was formerly $149. This advance copy simply means purchasing it at least three days before using it at Walt Disney World.

The same-day purchase price of Memory Maker will be $199 while it used to be $169.

So, to recap the new prices which are effective immediately:

  • Advance: $169
  • Same-Day: $199

We purchased it once post trip after we relaized how much we used it (think you have like 10 days from the date the pics were taken to do this). For us it was worth it at the time and that was about a year ago.

When we purchased our season passes back in May, well after our photopass expired, it somehow pulled all of our old pictures back into the portal. Thought that was odd for Disney.

$20 here, $30 there.... Before long you'll be required to give them your bank account info so they can take what they want, and just leave what they think you should have.

It sounds the same rhetoric as the people who just bought our storage place.  "Well, we don't understand why you are having such a fit over fifteen dollars.  We are not going to raise rates like everyone else does every three months.  We are only going to review our rates and there will be an adjustment every six months."

This is supposed to be appeasing?  Yeah, right.

Same policy, different companies.
