  3. No, this isn’t a Star Wars reference. My family spent Spring Break at Universal Orlando! Can you believe it? Can you also believe I’d never been there? Yep, it’s true. Z turned 9 the day before we left. He’s into Harry Potter now, and he’s tall enough to ride most of the rides. As a result, we decided it was time. And what’s more romantic than spending your 15th wedding anniversary at a theme park? Ha! We celebrated Z‘s birthday with a HP themed party a week before we left. Here’s a picture from that day. I also have a weakness for over the top cakes. I don’t have as many pict

  5. Just looked through the May issue of Trailer Life and there is an article about camping at the Fort. Boy, with it as hard as it is to get reservations there now, the Fort does not need this kind of publicity! Oh, and the top of one page is titled "Fort Wilderness "Fiends"".

  8. Happy Birthday, and watch that Old Fart stuff. Just kidding. If you haven't bought anything yet, and have some time before you make a purchase, give some thought to attending a large RV show. There, you can compare and contrast the latest in RVs, and check out various floor plans. Beware of "eye candy", fancy stuff, that adds to the price, but not necessarily the enjoyment or experiences. The self proclaimed largest RV show in the country is in Hershey PA in mid-September, which is only a few hours from DC. You can see any type of RV there. Good Luck and best wishes.

  9. My motorhome self-identifies as a tent. It's a little concerning at times but who am I to judge. Maybe some of those people you saw in 2000 are going through the same thing. I've been told it's best to let your RV express itself, and if staying in a partial site will show it the proper level of love and support, not to mention save a few bucks, I'm all in favor.

  10. We have been back almost a month now and we are ready to go back. It was still to crowded cost to much and I already booked it again for next year. We will never learn.

  11. We were there last week of March thru first week of April. Crowds were ridiculous, but it was still fun. Avatar rides are spectacular. I do agree that we will probably try to avoid spring break in the future, but a summer trip could be fun. The new 5th wheel has 2 air conditioners so staying cool is not a problem. I wish I was sitting in my chair on lot 1417 right now. Thinking about whether a GaG was in my future, or maybe jumping a boat to the magic kingdom for a casual walk and some treats, maybe take the pups for a walk to the dog park, figure out what movie is playing tonight, or hoping t
