  1. Same here, considering a Tropical Storm was formed out of that mess. We had tornados touch down just south of us on the East Coast. Cody
  2. Well at lease these guests have a nice view for their Halloween and Christmas holidays. Cody
  3. I agree with you, but not that there is more sites available, I wouldn't turn my nose up to this loop. A site at the Fort is generally better than a site elsewhere. Cody
  4. This is true, and I've actually had the same thing at Bay Lake Tower pool as well. Cody
  5. Local news, WFTV, reported a story that a firework from the Star Wars show went rogue. I haven't been able to watch the video as my wifi out here is spotty. 6. Plenty of time to implement the changes prior to AP holders getting to enjoy the new attractions under the old system with the old prices and restrictions...or lack thereof Cody
  7. I saw a picture floating around earlier tonight of a can of OFF! brand spray next to that information card. I assume there is some kind of business/sponsorship deal going on, unless this was an over night decision and they went to the local Costco/BJs/SAMs and bought the inventory. We'll be there September 22nd, so I'll see if we get one. Cody
  8. Disney is now giving out Cutter mosquito spray to hotel guests at check in as part of their mosquito prevention program. They also have stations set up at Disney Springs and the parks for guests to give themselves a spray. I wonder if we will get the same treatment upon check in at The Fort? 9. I agree 100%, my guess is this was just the cheapest and fastest way to remove that liability. What does it cost to have some truckloads of dirt and a crew to fill it versus a complete demolition where I assume you would still have to truck some fill into the site once everything was removed? This is a forgotten corner of property to the general public, so a quick and easy job was probably their goal. Get it done and move on. Cody
  10. Apparently the Disney quote in the Sentinel was correct that there were no immediate plans for further demolition. Cody
  11. Confirmation photo via the ForgottenDisneyWorld Instagram account. Cody
  12. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/tourism/os-disney-world-river-country-20160825-story.html From today's Orlando Sentinel. "Disney said it has no immediate plans to tear down any other remaining parts of the park, some of which can be seen from Bay Lake. Disney said the work had been planned for a while now." Cody
