  1. Been here a week and a half, not sure why I didn' post I am in site 1212 and missed TCD again (kids wanted to say thanks to the mystery spike guy). I can confirm no chairs at the Tavern the entire time. There are however 2 chairs at the meadows. I know it' not the Tavern but there are 2 at the meadows and they have gone mostly u used that I have seen.
  2. Came back from Epcot to this tonight. We don' hookup to the cable so not sure what has changed.
  3. I agree, switch to an LT tire. We had the same issue with our Ram 1500 when we put tires on it. We had a small 24' hybrid at the time and I replaced my P tires with another set of P tires (General Grabber P tire and not the LT). Shortly after that we upgraded to a new trailer and before we knew it our P rated tires had collapsing sidewalls. They had about 7500 on them and they couldn't handle the added weight of the new trailer. We pulled them and put LTs on in a slightly larger size. Night and day difference. We put a Michelin LTX A/T tire (they now make this as an LTX A/T 2 and I have these
  4. Yes. This time it was a tire. Starting to question if I have a curse.
  5. The wife had one. I had a sangria. It was good. Love the atmosphere in there when the guy is walking around playing guitar.
  6. The tires have been replaced. I now understand the crappy quality the stock tires are. The new ones are load rated e but the wheels are only good to 2150lbs. I called Goodyear and they said that keeping them under the max pressure is fine and recommended 50psi which matches the wheel load rating. They also have this on their website and they sent me a link to the psi/load ratings for their tires. Only issue was that it took them most of the day to get there. Not a big deal since we had a ft day planned. Took him about 2 hours to swap them out. With that out of the way we are now enjoying
  7. First of all thanks Nurse to for the recommendation. Got a hold of Wingfoot and they are on they way. Going to replace all 4 tires to be safe. Putting the endurance tires on. Load range e and will have to keep the pressure down since the wheels are only rated to 2150lbs according to the manufacturer. Goodyear said 50lbs will be fine and safe for the tire as long as we do t exceed the wheel weight capacity. Here is one of the splits. There were 3 others but when we woke up this morning 2 of them became one so now 3 larger cracks. Glad it didn' blow on the road.
  8. You guys are awesome. I will buzz them first thing in the morning. Looks like they don' make the 614 in my size but they do the endurance. We have 225/75-r15s. They are crappy load rated c tires from power towing/trail express. If they have them I am going to replace all 4 tires and the spare. Will keep you guys posted.
  9. Anyone know a company that will come and replace the tires at the Ft? Just got here and one of the tires has a splitting sidewall that wasn' there this morning. They are all 2 years old and about 5500 miles on them. I question the condition of all 4 now since we are so far from home and want some one to cone out and replace them. Also, any recommendations on a new TT tire?
  10. I would have done the same thing if I was in your shoes. I had a 2013 Ram 1500 and loved it but needed more suspension for the 35ft TT. We were barely within specs and it was not comfortable towing. The 2500 is much better. If we ever get ride of the camper the truck will probabaly go as well. The again one day I dream if a nice class a diesel pusher....when I win the lottery or the kids leave the nest. I had a 97 Ranger that dropped a clutch, blew a head gasket, and bent a shifting fork in the first 12000 miles. I had a 99 Dakota RT that was a blast. Bought it with 71k on it and traded
  11. Good choice on skipping those years. I still would love to know why GM doesnt do something better with their sloppy and soft suspensions for better towing. Shouldnt have to beef up a 3/4 or 1 ton trucks suspension to tow your average travel trailer or fifth wheel. Now the water pump replacement on those duramax's......pass. What a pain.

  13. They all have pros and cons. I can tell you that new nissan with the cummins in it is interesting. There was one at the fort and I couldnt hear it at all. Looked up the specs and it isnt your typical cummins design. You would not find me buying one. At least the 5.9 and 6.7 cummins has been around for a while and the bugs are fixed or well known. I would almost buy a 6.0l ford diesel over that new nissan cummins. At least I know it is going to crap out on me. Ok I am a little bit of a chrysler fan. Just a bit but I have still had my fair share of issues with some of their stuff.
  14. Never had either but it sounds fantastic.
  15. To be quite honest most of the water pump issue was probably my fault. I live by the motto of dont read the manual until you have to. While it has worked well for me for years, it probably bit me in the rear here. Since this is my first diesel I was unaware of the letting it idle before shutting it off. Apparently the water pump is a weak point if you dont let it idle to let the turbo cool down before shutting it off. And there was 60k miles of just shutting it off. They did find the bearing seal was toast and the bearing was rusted apart and the leading cause of that from my reseach is lack o
  16. If I could get tapatalk working there wiuld have beena few good ones. Got pictures of the truck marking its territory, a great picture of my son jumping out of the tube courtesy of photopass, a great pic from rock n roller coaster, and some great wildlife pics from around the fort. The site I foind to post for free doesnt work well from my phone. I may get some posted once I get some time on the computer this weekend.
  17. So gonna finish up the trip report. Our last 2 days were pretty uneventful. So thursday we got up and decided to give the truck a short drive to make sure everything was good to go for our trip home. We grabbed our swimming gear and took off to typhoon lagoon. We wanted to go to blizzard beach this trip but the truck issues cut 2 days from our plans so we had to cut a water park day. We had a blast at typhoon lagoon. Spent 3 hours in the lazy river an hour in the wave pool and 2 more hours on water slides. My son decided to be cute at the end of one of them and jumped out of the tube
  18. Why does goofy look like a complete hobo.
  19. 1300 filled in but 600 and 800 were still pretty empty when I walked by about 2 hours ago. Activity is picking back up for the weekend. We are heading out in the morning.
  20. 2000 had people in it so I assume it is still open. Good catch on that though. Didnt even realize it was not on the board.
  21. Hah. I may take you up on that when I need my fix in a month. We leave tomorrow so will be missing it.
  22. Sorry I didnt get thisnout earlier this week. This is posted at the outpost bus stop. Not sure about the settlement as we have only used the bus back there once this trip and I wasnt payong attention.
