  1. We have 35 foot class C towing a Ford Fiesta. I had the TST with external flow though caps at the stems. I had a terrible problem with leakage from the external flow through stems. I initially really, really liked them but the external flow through stems became too unreliable and too difficult to fill for the rear dullies. Additionally, the fit with the simulators on the rear and front did not really align. Now I go without the monitoring. I check all pressures before leaving. I inspect all tires at every stop using a heat gun. I WILL change to internal or non flow through at some poin
  2. I have been trying to look at opportunities 18+ months out. My WDW login only allows me to see CY 2019 availability. I thought 500 days was the limit. What am I doing wrong?
  3. We have stayed in the 800 and 900 loops. Just across the road from the pool, store, and camp fires. We stayed near the front so some noise from the bus stops but it was fine for us. If you stayed near the back of those of loops it would be quieter.
  4. Goose Much like you, our kids are still in school. We did 15 nights in early June 2017 visiting a park or water park every other day. The parks were crowded but manageable. We prefer to go at "rope drop" while it is cool. Back to the fort for the middle of the day. Then either back to a park after dark or hangout at the fort (my favorite). It rained every every afternoon but one. For us that was fine. We planned for the rain and napped in the afternoons :-).
  5. We were out for 20 nights. What I did not put in the previous post were the LONG days of driving to get back into AL. Fort Collins, CO --> Salina, KS -->Fort Smith SP, AR-->Tuscaloosa, AL
  6. We did a similar trip to this in Summer 2016 from the Birmingham area. Our outward leg was similar to what Specularius posted. The outward trip was: Gladewater, TX, Shallowcreek RV Park, http://www.shallowcreek.com Then routed north avoiding Dallas. Texas state routes were excellent. Remember most all of them being divided 4 lanes. Amarillo, TX, Oasis RV Resort, https://www.myrvoasis.com Gallup, NM, USA RV Park, http://www.usarvpark.com All of the parks were very nice. We stayed several days in Gallup with long-ish day trips to the 4 corners and Mesa Verd
  7. Awesome everyone. Thanks for all the great info.
  8. We are scheduled to arrive June 7 for 10 days. We stayed in 931 last time. I noticed somewhere, perhaps the Fiends App, that some sites in the 800 loop are 18 foot wide. Anyone have some specific site recommendations in 800? We have a 35 foot motorhome, 2 teenagers, dog, tow car, golf cart. Looking for room. Site 931 was great but a little close to the bus stop with lots of noise. We like the 800-900 loops for convince to the Meadows area. On another note, has anyone used an on-line fax service? Not sure I can fax machine anymore
  9. Do the picnic tables at the sites have a hole in the center for an umbrella? Can't remember
  10. Just booked our reservations for summer of '17. Which do folks prefer Hoop-Dee-Do or Mickeys BBQ? Traveling with two teenage boys
  11. We are looking to revisit the Fort next June (2017, 30 our 30th anniversary) for a couple of weeks. The plans is to use the Fort as a base-camp. We hope to visit the parks plus other Orlando attractions, Cape Canaveral, and Tampa. This generated a couple of questions: If we purchase 4 or 5 day tickets, must we use them in consecutive days once we start? Do we need park-hopper passes to go to a park early in the day then return to the -SAME- park later that day? Can we purchase a quick-service meal plan for the 4-5 days we plan to visit the parks? We plan to contact Jason
  12. Fiends We are considering a visit in June. We will not havn our toad vehicle by then. Anyone with experience getting Enterprise or similar rental car at the Fort? Thanks
  13. We stayed in 931 this spring with 15' sewer, 25' electrical, 25' water and 25' electrical with no problems. Water was a little tight but no real problems
  14. We were in the 900 loop last week. Cable was in/out/weak all week long. Th cable modem could not hold a connection for more than 5 minutes. TV would pixalate/freeze times. We were not terribly interested in the TV but the lack of Internet forced the kids to do something else
