  1. We go every year to the fort for Halloween and look forward to the haunted mansion display as it gets bigger and better every year. I'm super disappointed it won't be there anymore.
  2. I pulled my 40ft toyhauler all over the south camping and racing Polaris rzr's. biggest piece of advice I can give is watch the overhang behind the tires when backing and swinging in tight spots and it was very tall so had to be aware of low overpasses and trees.Other than that pulled like anything else except that thing was heavy at over 25,000lbs combined gross weight.
  3. I have mine printed and ready to fax. I liked the looks of the 600 loop when I stopped by. So I think that's the one I'm going for.
  4. Took the new to me rv and tandem tow out for a test run to smith lake today for a weekend of camping before we head to the fort. So far so good except my wife isn't sure if she likes the motor home better than our raptor toy hauler. So there's no telling what I will end up bringing to the fort.
  5. The wood coaster is the only one I didn't ride. I really wanted to but the park was closing and didn't get to. Guess I should have rode it first and would have if I would have known it was going to be torn down.
  6. Thanks for the input. Glad to hear it should fit in the site still hooked to MH. It was my first time a BG and loved the coasters but the older I get the less they like me as I get a little dizzy now if I ride them back to back. The longest I waited in line was probably 5 mins. I hope disney lines aren't to bad when I there the week before Presidents' Day week.
  7. How did you like the tandem tow?
  8. Not sure. I got it from a guy named chuck who lived in Tampa. He had it for sale on CL. If anyone has any reviews on them I would like to hear them good or bad.
  9. I'm not leaving till February 5th for the fort but stopped by the fort for first time last weekend to check it out. My dad found a tandem tow in Tampa for us to pull behind the motorhome so the wife and I headed out to go pick it up. Figured while I was that close might as well look it over. Also went to Busch gardens and had a blast on the roller coasters. Plan on a real trip report middle of February. Sorry for some of the sideways pics, not sure what happened with my photo bucket. Pulling into the fort. After riding through this is the nicest campground I have ever seen. Busch gardens was p
  10. This sounds like a winner. How crowded does it get in the evening? I know if your not at the rest areas and truck stops by dark there usually super packed.
  11. Is the front desk at the fort open 24hrs? If I show up around 8-9 pm who would I need to see about camping in overflow? Thanks for all the help so far.
  12. Has anyone stayed at the flying J in Ocala? I usually run 10 to 75S to get to Orlando.
  13. My reservation is for feb.6 but am leaving on the 5th. It's a 11-12 hour drive to disney so I would be to early for overflow. Flying J it is. My father and I run a big truck salvage business so the sounds of trucks running all night doesn't bother me at all.
  14. I will be headed to the fort February 5th and was going to over night at a flying j truck stop in Ocala then head on in to the fort on the 6th. My question is I wouldn't have a problem making it all the way to the fort on the 5th and was wondering if disney will let me over night in the over flow or will I need to over night at the flying j?
