  1. Thanks for letting us join in on your trip to Disneyland. After 3 trips to WDW (2 to the fort!) this year, we are heading to Disneyland at the end of January. I am excited for the trip and feel more knowledgeable about the park after reading this. Happy Holidays!
  2. Looking forward to the next update. I was so excited to shop at Harrods but was totally overwhelmed when we got there. We found the Christmas section and purchased an ornament and a nutcracker so all was not lost. And we saw Rod Stewart so that was a bonus!
  3. Ditto - thanks for sharing your trip with us! I am more excited than ever for our trip in one week!
  4. I am really enjoying your report! My one and only trip to London was for an NFL game almost 2 years ago. We stayed in a different part of town and did not spend much time in these parts - so it if fun to see. Our trip consisted of checking out lots of pubs! We did convince the guys to go on one of the double decker bus tours - that is how we saw all of the well known sites - and everyone enjoyed it. It lasted the better part of one day with getting off an exploring thrown in. Thanks for doing this report (and helping me pass the time until we are at the Fort in one week!)
  5. Favorite spots for me: 1- under the awning at my site (has been 400 loop recently) 2- Crockett's porch sipping on an adult beverage 3- Fireworks from the beach And many more...
  6. In and excited to read about your family adventures at WDW. We leave in 52 days for 1 night at the Contemporary and 7 at the Fort! We are also contemplating buying a small resale to join DVC - most likely VGC since we live on the West Coast. Where can I find information on how much of a savings there is for DVC AP's? Thank you for taking the time to include us all in your trip!
  7. I have been a lurker on trip reports for a long time... And it is about time for me to let you all know how fantastic they are and how I appreciate your time commitment in writing them. We leave for WDW in 52 days - 1 night at the Contemporary and 7 at the Fort. Reading about everyone's adventures really makes the "waiting for my trip" easier. And I learn a few things and get really, really excited! Thank you!
  8. I used this one in April of last year. I was trying to get a dinner reservation for 4 people at CRT for my daughter's birthday. We booked our trip only 4 months out so nothing was available. The end result was that we did get the CRT reservation - and it was at a pretty decent time (not a 9:30 dinner reservation!) I set up the text alerts. When I received one I would hop on the MDE app or the website to try to book it. You have to be very fast - as in immediate - or it will be gone. I was having some problems with my MDE account booking dining reservations (not just using this tool but
  9. Hello! And Thank You! I am a long time lurker (thanks to all of you that post) and this thread is what pushed me to join. Something about the power of saving money! Thank you Carol for posting this information. Myself, my daughter and my mom were all able to use this method and reap the rewards of saving $! We traveled to the world on January 7th 2015 with our UT tickets purchased and in our MDE accounts. We went into the MK that night and AK the next morning. We were staying at the Poly for this trip so it was easy for me to go to the TTC to attempt the AP bridged upgrade. I had to
