  1. I am really looking forward to reading more on this thread. We are contemplating Christmas 2016 at the Fort as well.
  2. Moving right along. At the end of our eventful day 1 we used a FP+ to watch the MSEP before heading back to the Fort. I wouldn't recommend this normally, but we were only spending a few hours here that night and it worked out pretty good. Oh yea, thanks to TCD for shedding light on why in the world so many people were dressed up at MK. It was dapper day! See the "Strange Things" TR page 4 for more details on this. It was strange. Day 2 - Hollywood Studios The second day at WWW is really a transition day for us and we try to keep it light. HS is always a good day to do that. Fo
  3. Duh, from RV! Can you believe that I haven't seen this movie yet? It is now on the must see list. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5MYIsARoQo Thank you, my wife is proud Will do Glad I am not the only one. I was bummed this year because we didn't see a good car wash close to the fort, but on the way out saw a truck and RV wash on hwy 50 (I think). Definitely gonna hit it up next year. Thank you and Ragland is a GB arrival day tradition. This year was during St. Patrick's Day week so it was a little more crowded than usual so I'm glad we had early ressies. We did get
  4. Hey look, I learned how to multiquote Definitely will in the future Thank you. It was nice to get the bad stuff out of the way on day 1. You know, the whole "eat your frog first thing" mentality First, I have been racking my brain trying to remember this scene. Help! Second, pretty sure that I wasn't near as graceful as I was skipping over stuff and jumping hitches Thank you. It get's less painful, I promise My wife will love this comment. She is a teacher and I am an accountant, her style is correct and my style is more RNE (red neck english) Oh that leak.
  5. BTW, we drove by your site while we were there...started to stop by, but I was a lurker at the time and didn't want to be a creepy stalker
  6. Rocky Start from Rocky Top....that should be the title!
  7. The nice green grass at the meadow on the way to the CS was calling my name. I don't do blood well
  8. I am a first time trip reporter but long time lurker on this thread. I have really enjoyed reading about everyone's experiences on here, especially since I live 650 miles away from the Fort and only get to go down once a year. We normally go down in October for fall break but switched to the spring this year to take advantage of DD9 who turned 10 in April. Plus it's supposed to be cooler in March, right? Ok, so here we go. In true Breaking Bad / Terantino style remember this photo...it will come into play later under the "bad luck" category (Roll opening credits) The father in law
  9. The band was really really good...and too bad I didn't have my selfie stick.
  10. ahhhhh...you lucky folks that live just down the road from Disney. DD7 takes lessons too and was asked to be in "mini company" this year, which is really great for her and really expensive for us. If she ever dances an Irish number we will definitely save the costume so she can wear it there one year. She danced on stage with them this year and it's all she talks about.
  11. That is the site we had in 2012. Absolutely loved watching the deer every night across the channel. So glad you all had a good trip!
  12. Awesome...how did you pull that off? My youngest runs around the house singing Wild Rover and would die if she could get all dolled up with the dancers and get on stage.
  13. Start with the beer flight and you may not need either
  14. And if you order more than $75 use the code "shipmagic" for free shipping
  15. We went to HDDR in Oct 2012 and saw this guy as six bits.. he cracked us up and I have been wondering where he is now? anyone know?
  16. Ordered ours yesterday...guess it's official now that I am addicted to all things Fort
  17. Glad I'm not the only one who sits back and enjoys "poetic justice"...my DD 6 is an early riser and I sometimes send her out to do my bidding.
  18. We wandered around the trading post several times, hoping something would magically pop up that we liked...never happened. These shirts would've been purchased by the GB for sure.
  19. Wow...that's great. Glad you and your family had a great time. Time to plan trip #2?
  20. Very very jealous right now...we love Ragland. It is the dining staple of our trip every year, so much that we always have dinner there on arrival day.
  21. No way, the resort manager assured me that all MB scanners are in place and working - per AC
  22. I am so disappointed in my self that i knew NOTHING about the piggy bank game. Ultimate parenting fail
  23. Can you get this for lunch or is it dinner only?
  24. Love it, just one to add Tonga Toast At the Poly - Kona It's huge and has some sort of strawberry concoction with it
  25. River Country really doesn't get enough pub...what an awesome place that must have been. Those pics are great! The slides, swimming in the lake, hanging with the 70's bald dude with a nice chest hair patch....good times
