  1. With all of the crowds that now seem to be at the parks, do you think this may have something to do with culling out and separating who stays and who goes at the end of the day(resort/non-resort folks)? I know that Disney is in it to make as much money as it can, but just looking at this from a tactical perspective, its much easier to allow the onsite guests in at the beginning of the day, than having all the cast member usher out the non-resort folk at the end of the day... Not sure how the Disney After Hours gig works, but with the Halloween and Christmas parties, it is somewhat easier
  2. I wonder if they pulled contractors off of this attraction to work on the Star Wars stuff? Funny how they can essentially complete a whole new section of a park and take so long on one ride... But, Star Wars is not open yet either...
  3. I just replaced all 6 tires on my MH with the Toyos... Saved around $1200.00 overall
  4. Isn't that a private cart? The rims are way too shiny and the top over the rear seat doesn't completely cover like the Fort carts do... Are folks bringing in private carts required to sign any sort of an acknowledgement of the ("fictional") rules?
  5. You can do this now at Aloha Isle in MK... You can get the Pineapple Float, The Dole Whip Cup and the Pineapple Upside Down Cake... I thought I had done this a couple of trips ago, but just checked the Mobile App and it is there...
  6. If you do make it up to San Fran, be sure to visit the Disney Family Museum. Its located in the Presidio, which is near the Golden Gate Bridge... But I am like the others... you don't have enough time to do and see it all.... Maybe plan for a trip up north next go round...
  7. Hey, its probably a bargain compared to the Poly Over the Water Bungalows...
  8. Can you imagine what the people watching will be during opening day... It would almost be worth it just to sit outside the entrance with an umbrella and lounge chair to see what comes out of the woodwork. Of course you would probably have to get there 2 days before the SWGE actually opens.
  9. Was lunch included in that particular tour? When we took the Keys to the Kingdom tour, it included lunch at Columbia Harbour House.
  10. Nacole, as much of a pain in the butt and aggravation this will be... I would say, let a transport company take the rig up, then you and fam make the trip up and bring it back. Remember, its just an "object" and can be (hopefully) repaired. At this point, there is not a lot that you can do to control the situation. No sense in stressing out and worrying about something that could affect your health and rattle your nerves. I would agree with you about taking lots of pictures. I would make sure your camera can date and timestamp each picture. As Queen Elsa would say.... "Let it go, let
  11. Man, they are moving quickly on this....!!
  12. I was gonna offer up the advise to check with the nearest bus driver, because you know they are the "gold standard" of knowledge!!
  13. Here is something I stumbled on regarding Commencement Notices filed with the county... Not sure if it adds to the discussion or to the confusion... https://dvcnews.com/index.php/resorts/reflections/4399-commencement-notices-filed-for-reflections
  14. Plus, it won't melt and run down your hand in the Florida heat!
  15. I'm getting ready to walk the same road... I have to replace the factory Michelin tires that came on the coach, so I too am anxious to hear what others have to say. I do know this, if you focus purely on reviews on-line, you will drive yourself nuts trying to decide on a brand.
  16. I received the email, not planning on going. Here is the content of the message VIEW in your browser
  17. I was gonna say that they should have Walt's head or his body on display, but thought that was a bit creepy (even for me...)
  18. Just keep on driving by then. Tie together a huge MALL, a casino, Medieval Times Dinner Show, and a Bass Pro Shops in the outskirts of Baltimore, then you can imagine what kind of experience you have. The people watching is priceless, and for you and I, the rental car gas is expensive!
  19. I don't care how Disney "packages" this scheme... for $12K they better be successfully raising the dead... Anything less, then they could throw in a couple of Fastpasses!
  20. Merry Birthday Everyone!! I echo what others have said about this group being together this long... It is definitely a great place with awesome, caring folks!
  21. Claudine's aunt lives in Severna Park now, but she used to live right in the heart of "Ballimur" (Baltimore for those of you not familiar with the accent). We usually end up over there when we visit...
  22. They were more generic... something you would expect from the Disney Store. They were however, judging by your picture, this same size... They only had one size and it was about a dollar.
  23. Claudine and I were in the Disney Store in Arundel Mills outside of Baltimore before Christmas, and they were peddling re-usable bags there as well... I know they have been around for a while, but looks like they are gaining traction.
  24. The only memory I have of Aunt Polly's goes back several years ago... We took the "raft" over to the island and did our exploring... If I remember correctly is was during the summer and with the usual Florida weather a thunderstorm blew up. With the lightning and thunder, they stopped the rafts and we were stranded on that island under an umbrella table at Aunt Polly's for over an hour until the storm passed...
  25. Kelly, that display is so awesome! We have come a long way from those "large" screw in Christmas bulbs... remember the ones if one went out the whole string wouldn't work... Seeing this makes me so want to be at the Fort right now. I hope you guys have a blast and have a Merry Christmas!!
