  1. I have 2 boys and will agree with most everything there. One thing I didn't see that my boys really liked this past trip was the Sea Raycers.
  2. This was in my trip report, but it's my new favorite Castle photo.
  3. One time I was walking in my neighborhood and saw the google car drive by 3x. I forgot about it and then GSV came up on my other message board, so I checked all the streets I remembered I was on. Found myself on one. I did not do anything crazy or strange, but they did blur some spots, like my hat, my tank top, and my face.
  4. I have too much fabric for sewing projects right now to get into crocheting for real. Maybe when I'm old and can't move. I did sprain my ankle yesterday, so maybe I'll get some sewing done this week!
  5. So cute it makes me want to learn how to crochet.
  6. We have only been to the Fort twice, the first time being 2014, so we missed the glory days, evidently. However, my husband still says it is the best campground he's ever stayed at, and we have stayed at 37 other ones (yes, I just counted them on my blog list.)
  7. We have one wand from a previous trip there. Yes, they have some really cool HP stuff there. My son was walking around with glazed eyes saying, "I can't believe the level of detail here." A friend of mine sent me a video of a coffee mug that is like the marauder's map. The heat changes it. I could not find that!
  8. LOL, I know. We saw the same thing. My 15 yo said if he had $119 he would buy the robe, too.
  9. They even set ours up so that anytime we are out of the state and try to use it, we can't. Yes, we could call them before we leave and give them our travel dates, but we are always too busy and forget, so then we're at a truck stop on the phone with them.
  10. We have the same problem. I usually have my main CC# memorized, but we have had so many new ones recently my brain can't remember more than 12/16 of this new one.
  11. So, on Monday after I was posting about this, I actually got an email from them with a special that was ending that night for $149. When I went to check it out they were already sold out of everything.
  12. I have actually had that pinned for months now. Someday I will get to it!
  13. I think we were the only ones on loop 500 this year that turned our lights off at 10, so I actually started leaving them on towards the end. But it was Inflatables Row, so I could see those people not wanting them deflating in every which direction. And like you, we didn't get anything at check-in about decorating rules. I had just read them online.
  14. That's what I got too, and I live in NC, so why do they love keith h? I just checked for mid-week in Nov (which is the times we went) and it is cheaper for sure, so I guess with discounts that is why I didn't know. I don't remember how we initially got on their email list. It may have been after staying there. But they would send out emails every so often with sales, and that's when my friends & I would book. Have you tried calling them to see if that's the best they can do that weekend? Hotels will go lower if they're trying to fill the rooms.
  15. PPS - it must be coming straight from China since it is supposed to arrive Feb. 25-Mar. 14. That will be a nice surprise as I will completely have forgotten about it by then.
  16. PS - love that it says "childern" in the description. My grandmother (Mamaw) would say "childern, childern" when the cousins would fight.
  17. Since I stood in line for like 45 with my 15 yo son to meet Baymax, I feel I must get him one now.
  18. I know I have never paid that much, but I definitely got a good deal when I knew the Asst GM. Also, they have "sales" certain times of the year that we would get emails or mailers for. I remember the food was pretty expensive, so we (and friends) would just drive out and bring fast food back. My kids are too old now for it. But yeah, I'm not sure how it will do in Orlando.
  19. We have a GWL about 10 min from our house. We have stayed there a few times over Election Day or Veteran's Day. Have not ever been in the summer, but 2 things that come to mind about indoor vs. outdoor in summer (yes, at least one has been mentioned): sunscreen & no blazing hot concrete or pavement to walk on. I used to know the GM or asst GM here, but he moved on to the Kansas City one. I do know from him that there are different size GWLs. Not sure how the Orlando one will compare in size to the Concord one, but it is small compared to BB or TL, so not sure how it would compete
  20. We live too far away to just pop in, so any time we're coming has to be over a school break which = busy which = I have to book way in advance. We stayed 11 days, I think, over Christmas, and it was still very relaxing, even with the occasional clown car horn from a golf cart on our loop, and the 2-night party (which I think was the same people.) Maybe we were just lucky.
  21. I would love this for when I want to go somewhere by myself but am too chicken to take the MH. So cute.
  22. Yeah, after reading more I feel like it may be similar to what we already have going on.
  23. Thanks for the tip. I can sleep on anything, but my husband has issues. We tried Sleep Number and he didn't like it. We currently have a Tempurpedic. We tried them in the store and I really liked the Cloud model. I let him pick though, and he picked a harder one and the one we got is really hard. Apparently, they are softer in the stores due to people trying them. They have a 30 day return period, but he was sure it would still soften after that (they told us as much). Now like 4 years later, he is still complaining and has said he's getting something else. We have a gel topper on it t
