I have not heard of or used those.  I use AllStays a lot and found it very helpful on our cross country trip.

Thanks. Oddly after it doing it a thousand times, it finally just stopped and stayed out. Hopefully that doesn't mean it's staying out for good!
We did have them replaced after they broke when a heavy guy stepped on them while doing the state inspection a couple of years ago, so I can sympathize with you too!

My SIL gave me a Cameo lesson this weekend. She just made a ton of stuff for her daughter's wedding.
Now I must have one.  Her daughter also has one that she has never taken out of the box. My SIL says she will probably sell it to me when her first rent payment is due.
I didn't know besides cutting the vinyl stuff I could also cut fabric for my sewing projects. Maybe Santa can bring me one if the other one doesn't pan out.

We got a new little guy right before Thanksgiving. His name is Winston and he has not been camping yet, but he's been on the motorhome a couple of times at our storage place.  He was afraid the first time but did better the 2nd.  Here's a pic of him in the snow we had in Jan. He's bigger now!  I think he is just over 4 months old (born Sep 28). He's started losing his fuzzy puppy coat and razor sharp puppy teeth, and he loves to chew on anything. Oh, also you can see in the pics he has a stripe above his nose where the fur grows in the opposite direction.

A few minutes ago I saw the weather channel guy in Jacksonville Beach say they were leaving for the mainland and when they leave, you should leave. Of course my SIL and her family are staying.

Finally made the row Derek sent me. It's hard to tell in this pic, but turned out very cute (if I do say so myself.)

Ellie just turned 10 in June. We had talked about getting a puppy before she got sick so she could help socialize, but it never happened. Thinking about getting 2 next time.

Currently making a set of these for some friends that just got a new camper. Will post a pic when I finish.
But..I forgot to post I made a whole bunch back in the spring for me & all my camping buddies. I wanted to pick coordinating fabric for the two to each person but then I wanted to have a different overall look for each person, so it was a challenge picking all the fabric, even with my extensive (some might say too large fabric) stash. So, here are my notes in case you want to make some.
The binding was a little tricky. I don't really like how I did it on the first ones, but I think these I'm working on now look better. The instructions say to machine sew to the front and then hand stitch to the back. Didn't like my hand stitching, so then I thought I'd just machine stitch the back. That would be great if I could see the front while doing it, because then I discovered it didn't always "stay in the lines". My mom suggested I sew to the back, then fold over and sew to the front because then I could see what I was doing and it wouldn't matter what the back looked like. So, that's what I ended up doing. This latest one though, I went back to the original tutorial instructions and think it looks better.
I also wanted a loop on them in case someone wanted to hang it, so had to figure that out since it wasn't in the pattern and instructions. So, you can see in the pic I tried different locations for the loops.
Oh, and they are supposed to have one layer of regular batting and one layer of insulated. I appliqued 4 with just the insulated layer before I realized I had missed something, so then my seam ripper got a LOT of use. So basically I zig-zagged 12 times.
My machine started skipping lots of stitches on the zig zag applique, so I would have to go and fill them in. Changed to a different kind of thread and that seemed to help.
Notice in the pic, somehow one of them was inverted.
I did not applique the scalloped part of the awning because a) I thought it looked better and 2) zig zagging around curves is really, really hard. I did apply fray-check to it.
So, lots of problems, and none of them look perfect, but I think everyone was happy. Even one of my friends who doesn't camp wants some. I do hope no one has to ever wash theirs. Not sure what will hold up and what won't!!

Haha, just noticed my dog in the back of the pic. She's always like a foot away from me!
Will post a pic of the other two when I finish.

Finished the 2 others I was working on. Could not find my patterns for these anywhere. They are free, but you have to email the lady or sign up or whatever, which I had already done, so I just got my 2 and copied the pieces onto this papery stuff. So they may look slightly different in spots. Still cute though.
I also did much better on the binding on the first one I finished (gray binding). I think maybe the gray fabric was a better fabric than the red.
    Anyhoo....

Just back from a camping trip to Maine, where I picked up 2 more patterns, and then I got home and had one waiting in the mail from Derek!
Still have a couple around Charlotte to get, am waiting on my Mom & bro to pick up a couple in NETN, and plan on making a day trip to Mt. Airy (Mayberry).
I'm going to be busy! Luckily it's 1000 degrees here and I don't want to leave the house. :D

Sounds like a strange argument to me.  Cadillac might not be as expensive as you think if you are willing  to buy a Chevy.

PPS - it must be coming straight from China since it is supposed to arrive Feb. 25-Mar. 14.  That will be a nice surprise as I will completely have forgotten about it by then.

I was going to mention that too. I saw cars, golf carts everywhere not on pavement. There was one site with 4 tents on it and 3 cars all entirely in the grass (well, really dirt & pine needles).

I feel like there was something we had to do.  I think we had to go to the ride photo counter and tell them the photo number and then they scanned our band.  But I think MM was fairly new then, so it's entirely possible the method changed.
