  1. I didn’t receive an invoice. Did you get my message? @gmail.com Thanks Jen!!
  2. We were in the area last week. Our daughter just moved there and we helped her move cross country. We added a few days into the end of our trip with a stay in Santa Cruz. It was absolutely beautiful. Whale watching cruises are great there if you enjoy the ocean. There is a cool boardwalk there to enjoy with kids. Eddie Money performed a free concert on the beach while we were there. If you are a foodie, you can't beat the fresh seafood, fruit, and vegetables in the area. We stayed in the hills and the evergreens smell like Christmas. Then you drive 10 minutes downhill to the beach and enjoy th
  3. Has anyone tried the Celebration at the Top - Savor, Sip, & Sparkle? I made a reservation, but I'm trying to decide if it is worth the cost. It's $99 per person at California Grill. From 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm, small plates and sushi are served along with access to wine, beer, and coffee. At 9:00 pm, guests may view fireworks from the outdoor balcony. Once fireworks have finished, dessert and coffee is available. We enjoy dinner at California Grill, and couldn't get a regular reservation, so I made this one for July 4th. Has anyone else done this yet?
  4. Thank you for posting a TR! We are planning to be there soon, and we have FPs! We are pumped! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks for adding a new trip report! I'm in! Kelly and I met up with the WWW and I got a button! Fun times! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. We used Florida Camper Rental and they were awesome! You can find them on Facebook. Once we received our site assignment, I called them and they delivered the 5th wheel and set everything up. We were able to go into the park and have fun while everything was being set up for us.
  7. Good luck, lady! I'm happy to walk around with you while you spend all your money. Wouldn't you rather just find a good restaurant and be waited on?
  8. Thanks for the report! Kelly and I will be there in a couple of weeks. She has been so excited about the festival, but I hadn't caught the bug. She was able to snag tickets for the show. Now, you have me excited to see this new festival and the show. To me, Food & Wine just wasn't worth the expense of going booth to booth, and I didn't really experience any gastronomic wonders there. But, that may just be me. It's always a pleasure to read your trip reports! Keep 'em coming.
  9. Woman! I told you not to tell!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. When I was there last week riding the monorail, I noticed a snazzy RV parked at the Polynesian. I remember wondering why it would be there, now I know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I've read some posts in the past that have said that I shouldn't do the online check in and instead just fax. Would you do both the online check in and the fax? When requesting adjacent sites, are both guests required to make the request? My in laws would like to be in a site nearby, but they struggle with using "My Disney Experience." When I made our reservation, the request was noted. Is that good enough?
  12. Imagine my delight after a few days of being away from FF to log on and find a TCD trip report?! It's like Christmas came early! Looking forward to hearing the rest.
  13. Yes - what's up with the stinky monorails? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The giraffes are my favorite. To get a great close up look, think about going to Animal Kingdom Kidani Village resort for lunch at Sanaa. There is also a viewing platform there. In my experience this is the best view and you can stay as long as you like. There is also a cast member there who can tell you more about all the animals you see. And BONUS ... Sanaa is a great lunch and a nice mid day break.
  15. I think you make a good point. There is a good possibility that a category 4 storm could make landfall not very far away from the Fort. Most of my family and friends live on the Atlantic Coast between Vero Beach and Jacksonville. They are all evacuating and they have never evacuated in the past. Why take a chance if it can be avoided?
  16. Exactly TCD! They did offer a $100 gift card for our time, but it's just not something we are interested in doing. Whenever I do the math, it just doesn't compute. My husband was tempted to do exactly as you suggest, but I wouldn't let him. I was afraid our names would go on some list. Hahaha! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. No, I didn't see Aladdin. This "coming soon" business is getting old. If they aren't talking about it at that sort of event, I'm a little worried. And I haven't heard any rumors about the replacement parade at MK once the current one says adios. Hmmmm.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. We did call about the shower. An employee came to the room and twisted the handle harder to reduce it to a slow drip - that was the fix. The next time I took a shower, my husband had to come into the room to turn the handle for me. The springs only poked if I laid near the edge of the mattress and we didn't want to take the time to explain it and wait around for another employee to come to the room. Since there were three of us, we just switched beds. My daughter was fine with everything since she laid in the middle of her bed. Regarding the tour, we returned to the room on our seco
