Yes kids can walk the tour, they give the adults 2 free samples at the end. Also they have the ferry running now from riverwalk in Downtown Tampa to St. Pete its a fun little boat ride and there's shopping within walking distance from both docks. (Tampa/St. Pete)

That was a great report. I loved following it. It has me even more stoked for my up coming trip to the fort!!

I walked the 2100 loop yesterday and there were no empty sites, I'll try again sun / sat.

I'll try to cruise out to the fort tomorrow / Wednesday.

They're predicting the storm to curve around and come back into central Florida as a tropical storm, but that's too far out to tell as of now.

I usually get it, and yes I would ask at check in. Sometimes they'll have you call the front desk the morning of checkout as well.

Likewise we went closer to the 25th one year and we prefer earlier in the month. I'm always hoping for a cold/cool front though!
