  1. 6 more days till we’re back at the Fort. 🙂
  2. Donald is now ready to join Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto.
  3. Ahhhhhhh......finally back at the Fort...!!!
  4. Has anyone heard if/when the resort boat traffic may be started back up? I hear that only the large ferry boat is in operation at the moment due to this tragedy.
  5. Hey Retired...I just free-brushed the dots & hoped I didn't mess it up. Had plenty of Rust-oleum Red in case I did. Derek....don't be a chicken & go for it. :-) It really wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be to make.
  6. Counting down the months & days till we arrive back at the Fort on July 3rd. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
  7. We are here on site 932. For Minnie's bow, the wife found a kids light-up hair band at Oriental Traders. We just cut off the hair and piece & the bow was perfect
  8. We'll be arriving in paradise at the beginning of July & will be bringing our slightly elderly dog w/ us this time. The concern is if a power failure would occur while we're at the parks. We've been there enough to know that power failures in the loops are rare, if darn-near non-existent, but we still have concerns. We've thought about remote temperature monitors that can be accessed by smartphone but those seem a little expensive. Anyone have thoughts on this...
  9. 2 Milk Cans for Mickey & Minnie 1 Cream can for Pluto Lighting kit for each of them 12" and 9" acrylic globes for the head & ears for Mickey & Minnie 9" Acrylic globe & 2 plastic Dad's Root Beer 1-litre bottles flattened & shaped w/ a heat gun for the ears. Covered in an old pair of black nylons PVC pipe Toilet flanges to mount the PVC to the can lids Marine epoxy to glue most of the stuff together Pabst Blue Ribbon & Rolling Rock beer to keep ME together. 7 more days & counting till we arrive in paradise...!!!! :-)
  10. LOL, Trav....I know that feeling very well...!
  11. To transport them, I take the lids off (the lighting stuff is all attached to the lid) & they ride along side the cans on one of the bunk beds. I wrap the cans w/ bubble-wrap to keep them from bumping each other.
  12. I got my 3 milk can lamps finished & ready for my July trip.
