Oops...and...what the fort is wrong with me???
Lou... replied to cindymac11's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
I can't wait to meet your friend when I stop by. What's their name. Did your friend link their tickets to their MBs? If not, as long as they can prove that they purchased the tickets and can prove that they are who they say they are, it's not an issue. From the Mouse's mouth. "Most Walt Disney World Ticket media can be replaced if lost, stolen or otherwise misplaced. Replacement can only be done in person at the Guest Relations located at one of the four Theme Parks or Guest Services at Downtown Disney Marketplace. Below is my schedule for this Friday. I suspect, but don't know for sure, that it's something to do with Frozen. "Fri 11/21, 07:45-12:30 Guide - ST"

The TCD Gang Jump Starts Christmas: An Early November Fort Trip Report
Lou... replied to Tri-Circle-D's topic in Trip Reports
Prediction: The twins will not want to work anywhere else and will be full time CMs at WDW after graduating from college. -
Last year's recorded temps on Thanksgiving were 64 for a high and a low of 39. I probably wouldn't go outside, never mind eating out side.

A Ranger on the Job!
Lou... replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
I know, those cheapskates. They just don't seem to understand that someone driving a GC around the Fort should get paid 75K. -
As in cake, which is a dessert, which apple pie is as well. Pack apple pie.

That's because they forget where they put their cowboy hat the day before, so by the time they find it and get on the short bus to the Fort, it's noon. -
Meadow Pool Slide closing for rehab in February
Lou... replied to shoreline99's topic in Disney and Fort Construction
The DisBoards is way down on my list of reliable places to get accurate WDW info. It means absolutely nothing as it's early yet and is a minor refurb, but there is nothing about it yet on the Fort's info page. They absolutely could because BB is closed in Feb. -
Good one.

Meadow Pool Slide closing for rehab in February
Lou... replied to shoreline99's topic in Disney and Fort Construction
Consider your source. Did they offer an alternative pool when the entire Meadows pool was shut down for the refurb? If on the off chance that the experts at DisBoards actually got something right, it's just the slide and not the pool, so I doubt it. -
And then there's the newest drink offering at the Mexico pavilion.

Add the dessert party at DHS to the list, but all that will disappear after the holidays. What's after that?
-
Once the holidays are over, the restricted access sign and the checking for reservations will cease to exist. I'll be going to the Fort sometime this week and I will get in through the regular entrance without a rez of any kind or a made up story. I also will not show my CM ID.

From the beginning, the Frozen phenomenon has been driven by little girls and their moms. Do they think it's too much? Have they had enough? I'd like to know where on the popularity curve it is with them. Is it going up, has it peaked, or is it on the way down?

A Strange Call with Disney Dining
Lou... replied to cindymac11's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
As that info is directly from a Disney web site, feel free to give them my name. I'm sure there is only one CM named Lou. -
For you Fiends with either a "Mo" or "Carol" Disney rating, D23 will be having their big event this Sat and Sun at the convention center in the Contemporary resort. For a measly $250, you too can attend and get your Disney addiction satisfied. Just follow the link below for all the details. Oh, and if that's not bad enough, you might run into me on Sat afternoon. I'll be there then, but they have to pay me to be there. https://d23.com/d23-events/d23-destination-d-attraction-rewind/

Absolutely, I've given out the bus cards for years but have never seen one with the EWP on it.

A Strange Call with Disney Dining
Lou... replied to cindymac11's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
Are you reading the same post that I posted? Where did you get that I don't care what I get charged? Here's what I posted. Or you could have asked on a website called Fort Fiends.Net. Currently they're showing that the price will be the same on the 23rd as it is today, $17.03. No guarantee that it won't change, but that's what it's showing today. And that's why I said you can ask on here and I will look it up. . -
Sounds like the issue about keeping the milk cold didn't materialize?
