Cosmic Rewind is awesome!  Hubby suffers from motion sickness, so he had taken his Dramamine about an hour before, and had not eaten breakfast.    This was good, as he was pretty affected by the twists and turns and sideway motions.  He declared it ‘re-doable’, but not with anything on his stomach.  Unfortunately, we didn’t think his dad could handle the ride, as he has back problems, so we released the Virtual Queue rides.
Coming back, we noticed the Jammitors setting up just outside the breezeway area.  I left hubby holding a spot, and grabbed the in laws to come see.   Father in law loves playing the drums, he really got into the set.  We bypassed Mission: Space and Test Track was down, so we started the walk to Remy ( 11:00am LL)  On the way, we got the Passionfruit Cheesecake from Hawaii booth ( yummy!),  Got some beer cheese soup from Canada, searched for the family name in England ( no joy, the name exists, but no coat of arms was findable).
We got pictures in France, and thoroughly enjoyed Remy’s ride.   Both in laws duly impressed by the trackless cars, and how smooth the cars and animation segued together.   Afterwards,  we enjoyed the Parmentier de Boeuf Braisé au Cabernet from the Food and Wine booth, as well as the big strawberry Macaron, and the Chocolate Mousse from Les Halles Boulangerie.  I finally got to try the Grand Marnier Orange slush, and it was everything I hoped for.  I want MORE.  Gonna learn how to do that at home, I think.

We had 1:30 reservations at Nine Dragons, so started around World Showcase towards China.  We wandered slowly, but did not go into any of the shops, just enjoyed the scenery.   Got pictures in Japan,  stopped in at the American pavilion to listen to a piano player / singer.  We sang songs from Mary Poppins.   There was a gentleman from England in the audience, who could say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious backwards.   He could also spell it, and spell it backwards.   A man of talent!
After a nice cooldown, we wandered on, stopping at the trains to take pictures and marvel at the cute scenes.   We got to Nine Dragons a bit early, but they seated us right away.  The hot and sour soup was spectacularly good this day.  Best I’ve ever had, we ordered another bowl each.   Hubby had the Spicy Honey Chicken, I had Kung Pao Chicken,  Father in Law had Kung pow Chicken and Shrimp and Mother in law had Spicy Mala Happy Family.   We all really enjoyed the food.  I just never have understood why this restaurant gets no love.   I took a bit of time to remember Josh from Easy WDW.   I was wearing my Ten Dragon’s shirt in his honor, and our waiter noticed the name, so I had to give him a short synopsis of Josh becoming the Tenth Dragon.  He thought the story was lovely.   The only problem I had with the shirt, is that it was soo hot, all my pictures show me in a splotchy shirt because of sweat issues.  Oh well, not really much to complain about.

h2odivers...Ray reacted to ThemeParkCommando in The last thing I did before leaving Disney was kick a baby. A trip report!
I'm going to finish up the report today. 😃  It was a short trip.
Refreshed and restored, we went on through the world showcase, through Norway.  Frozen was at 60 minute wait at 2:30, with no LL’s available. And so we went on into Mexico.  We rode the Three Caballero’s ride, only a 5 minute wait.   We came out of Mexico pavilion and picked up churros to share.

I grabbed an LL for Imagination, and we went to the ride. Pooh was interacting on the lawn outside of the Imagination pavilion, so we went and got pictures.  The LL saved us maybe 5 minutes in line.   All of the CM’s were happy about Figment coming back to meet and greets soon.  We got to hear about it quite a bit, and we were happy.   After, we did the Pixar Movie Shorts, then on into the Chase Visa Character meet and greet, where we got to take pictures with Goofy and Mickey in their 50th finery.

We went on down to the Seas pavilion afterwards, and talked a lot about the length of the queue for the Nemo ride, and how I’ve seen it completely full in the summer, and never want to see that again, lol.   We enjoyed the aquarium area, but didn’t stay for Turtle Talk with Crush.   Afterwards, we went to ride the monorail, as we had no other plans to take it for transportation on this trip, and we wanted the inlaws to experience it.   So down to the TTC and back again.   Father in law at this point was finally grasping just how big WDW really is.
Back at EPCOT, we had 6:30 reservations at the Rose and Crown.   They are still on a limited menu, but we did have a waiter from Scotland, and he was a lot of fun to speak with.   I had the cheese, fruit and meats board, hubby had Fish and Chips and the inlaws split a Shepherds Pie.   We had both the Sticky toffee pudding and the Strawberry Trifle for dessert.   The Trifle was better.
Afterwards, we were all wiped out by the day, so went to find a good spot for Harmonius.  We got a great spot on a planter shelf near the entrance to World Showcase.   A rainshower came through, so we wrapped up in our poncho’s and waited it out.  Harmonious started on time, and it was  lovely.  Since the in-laws had no other show to compare it to, they were blown away.   It was the biggest fireworks show they had ever seen.  They were sooo happy to be there for it.
We made it back to the car, and then to the cabin, and collapsed.   MK Rope Drop was coming early!
So, for our MK day, we took our golf cart to the Marina, and jumped on boat transport to MK.  Had to wait for just one boat.    We walked through the tunnel into MK at about 8:10, but we are doing the old folks tour, so had no real reason to be at the front of the crowd.   We bought the in laws souvenir hats.  Father in Law got a Partners silhouette hat, and Mother in law got a Cinderella’s castle hat.   Hubby was decked out with his Nautilus hat, and I was wearing full Figment regalia ( T-shirt and ears).   We started our day with Carousel of Progress.   It was a hit!  Next on the list was WedWay people mover.   We broke down inside space mountain, so had a nice break in the AC.    Tron Coaster was a beehive, looks like they were doing walkways and other concrete pours.    The coaster was not running tests.
We did Teacups, Barnstormer,  Dumbo and Ariel’s ride all with no wait.  We bypassed 7 dwarfs and Pooh,  and went in to wait to see Cinderella.   Mother in Laws favorite Princess.   We waited about 40 minutes out of a 60 minute posted wait.   Got to meet Elena and Cinderella and took some lovely pictures.  Next, we did It’s a Small World, and then jumped on the carousel (My must do ride), and then had a light lunch at Pinocchio’s.   We had a LL for Jungle Cruise at 1:00pm, so wandered over and went to see the backside of water.   Our cruise director had the ability to remember that elephants never forget… and told us this fact over and over and over again, as she promptly forgot she had done so already.  It was a little annoying at first, but became absolutely hysterical by the end of the trip, as all of us were trying to figure out ways to hide the elephants from her.   Never realized just how many elephants there are on the jungle cruise, lol.
Out of Jungle Cruise, we grabbed our obligatory Dole Whip pineapple floats, and started out of the park.
Next up, a 4pm show of the Hoop de Doo Revue!

Hoop de Doo was great, as always.   This was our first time back since the pandemic, and not much has changed, except for the actor play 6-bits.   Chicken and Ribs and all the fixin’s are still delicious.  Our waiter kept our tea and lemonade topped up, as we were dehydrated from the park.  The in laws had a blast, and we gave them the washboard to play at the end, since we’d done it before. Mother in law got so enthusiastic with it, I thought she was going to punch it out of its frame.  So many bad jokes.  So much rip roaring fun.
After the show, we drove back to the cabin and took an hour nap, then went back to the Marina for a trip back for fireworks.   We were all pretty tired by this time, but no one was complaining.  We found father in law a spot to sit, as his back was really hurting at this point.  He was on the steps by the Uptown Jewelers, and we were in the street holding a spot.   The crowd was not near us when we chose the spot, but by the time the show started, it was shoulder to shoulder.   The had the projections running on main street as well as the castle this night, so there was  a LOT to look at.   Mother in law kept turning circles trying to take it all in.  It was crowded, but quite magical.  The music and ambiance is just unique, and worth the crowd.   We all enjoyed every minute of the show.  Afterwards, we ducked back to the steps where Father in law had waited before the show, and we sat there while the crowd thinned out.   We moved up to the gardens near the castle, and waited there for a bit until the photographers came back out.
We got in line behind a newly engaged couple, and the photographer did some really awesome poses for that young couple.  Very unique shots with the partners statue and with the castle.   She showed them to us before we started our photos, because we were so very impressed by her abilities.  We got some great shots from her, as well.

I snagged an LL for Pirates, and we wandered over that way, playing with the magic bands and golden statue interactions on the way.   That is a neat feature of the new magic band+ system.   Those bands also vibrate and put on a light show during the fireworks, but to me that was more annoying than fun.
We rode Pirates, then grabbed an LL for immediate return to Haunted Mansion.  LL wasn’t necessary here, as we went all the way to the join spot with no line on either side.  Coming out of  HM, we walked past the Tangled restrooms and HOLY SMOKES, the lantern photo artist was there!!!!   I herded our tired crew into line, told the in laws that this is still one of the rarer photo shoots to get at MK, and perked everyone up for one last photo.        That kept us happy and talkative all the way back to the boat dock.  We enjoyed the final ride to the Fort, and collapsed into bed one last night at WDW.

The next morning, we were up and packing early.   Hubby and I took the golf cart over to the Meadows trading post to grab a Ft. Wilderness pin, and souvenir mugs for us.  I was standing near the checkout, but not in line yet, looking at merch.   There was a woman checking out, and I heard her talking as to a small child.   I went to take a step forward, heard my hubby yell ‘WATCH OUT’, and my foot hooked a crawling baby.  My brain went from nothing to 90, as I realized I was going down, it’s a baby under me, DON’T SQUISH IT!!!!   I reached out with my hands, dropped my pin and mug, hopped the baby with the other foot and thank goodness the shelf I reached for was a heavy, wooden thing that could take my weight.   I saw the foot that hooked the baby roll him onto his back like a little turtle.   I wrenched my right knee slightly, but the adrenaline rush was enough to keep the pain away.
The poor baby, I turned and went down to him, put my hand under the back of his head as his dad swooped in and picked him up.   The mom, the dad, the closest CM and I were all clucking like biddy hens, offering apologies all around and making sure the baby was ok.   He was only a little startled, cried for about 3 seconds then just looked at us all wide eyed.  No harm, no foul.   Scary end to the vacation, though.   My knee only hurt for a couple of days.
    Thanks for reading!!

This day we headed to Animal Kingdom!  Everyone have hats, sunscreen, water, wallet and Magic Band? Good.  We drove there.  We prefer to do that.  We went straight to Flight of Passage and got to the end of the line were the path gets to Africa!  It moved fairly quickly.  This ride was great!  Good job!  Then we did the River ride.  It was OK at best.  Then we did Dinosaur, Everest, the trails, safari, the bird show (that was neat) and Though to be a bug.  You had to get into line for The Lion King show an hour before it started.  We decided not to wait in 95 degree heat and no shade.  We had dinner reservations at Cinderella's Castle at 5:15 (Only time we could get in and my YD would had killed me if we didn't get in.)  So we left AK around 3:30 and drove to MK.  When we got there the "mini-parade" with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Pluto went by us.  We saw several of these while we were at WDW.  Not as good as a regular parade, but it also didn't block the street for 20 minutes.  Got to the Castle and checked in.  At several of our reservations we joked that everyone needed to sit down while we waited, because it seemed that once everyone sat down our table would be ready so we would all have to get up.  We liked the food and our Server was very good.  Cinderella came out every 30 minutes or so and waved to the crowd.  My YS showed what barbarians we are by stabbing his corn on the cob with his knife and ate it that way.  That's why we can't have nice things!! We road Splash and Space Mountains again.  Then we headed back to the campground.

We went to Blizzard Beach the next day.  We got out of the truck, we drove, and asked "Everyone have their Magic Bands?" I hear "We need our bands?".  from both of my sons.  Get back in the truck and go back to the campground, get the bands and head back to BB.  My wife and I added Magic Bands to the "Do you have " questions we ask before we leave the campground.  (hat, sunglasses, wallet, water, sunscreen and now Magic Bands) This was just a chill day.  doing some slides and the lazy river.  Just relaxed.
The next day I got up before 7 am and tried to get into the Rise of Resistance ride.  7 clicked over and I'm hitting the buttons and ..... queue full!!  Boooo!!!  Went back to sleep.  We got to the Hollywood Studios around 8:30 am.  Did TSMWM, Star Tours, Tower of Terror, Rock N Roll Coaster, Muppets, Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Saucers, MIckey & Minnie Railroad, Smugglers Run.  A little before 1:00 pm I'm in the line for Rock N Roll Coaster and we're getting closer and closer to the front of the line and it's getting closer and closer to 1.  Twenty feet from the front of the line it turns 1.  Pushing buttons!  And the queue is .......  WE'RE IN!!!  Woo Hoo!!  We ate at Hollywood and Vine.  Again food was good and the Cast Members were great.  Went to Rise of the Resistance.  We enjoyed it.  It was an unusual ride.  I had no idea what it was.  You get on a ride, then off and then back on.  The 'First Order' troops were very good.  We were being 'detained' and the Officer in charge said something, can't remember what it was, but it was a song title and someone else started singing the song and I started laughing and couldn't stop.  He walked up to me and wanted to know what I was laughing at and I told him and he shook his head and walked away.  Like I said we enjoyed the ride.  We also enjoyed Smuggler's Run.  There are 6 of us so we filled the Millennium Falcon.  The two non pilot kids were complaining about the other 2 kid pilots when we got off the ride and the Cast Member said "I was going to ask how it went, but we could see.  Not very good."  Everyone laughed.  The kids saw people carrying around boxes all day, but we didn't know what was inside.  We then saw 2 people stop and sit down and open the box.  Inside was a remote control droid.  I looked up the Droid Shop to get information on it.  The kids showed some interest in it so I and tried to get a reservation but there were none.  (This is to be continued.)  Trying to reenact a scene from 8 and 14 years ago my 21 year old daughter jumped on my back so I could carry her on the way out.  For some reason I couldn't carry her as far as I did those 2 times.  Another GREAT day.

We left off with the dinner question. Before we get to that I forgot to mention on the way to play shuffle board we stopped at the horse barn. Just as we got in it started to rain. It was nice to look around. This was are first time seeing the new barn. They did a great job! Just has we are getting ready to leave the rain stopped.
Now back to dinner. We had planned to grill out tonight but, that changed when my son heard that there was a Fuddruckers still open. Are local one closed down for good last year. This is a place he always enjoyed going. We gave in and that's where we went. It was not busy at all. We placed are order and found a table outside. The table next to us was full of garbage and not just from the restaurant. It was there the whole time. No employee ever game out to check the tables. The food was good but, we missed the toppings bar. You had to order what you wanted not the same. After dinner my son and I did a little exploring. I had heard this shopping center was going to be closing this year for a new road that will be going thru. A few of the restaurants never reopened after the covid shut down. It was interesting to see all the stuff that was left and how much damage some of these places had. We head back to the Fort.
My son had a friend down the same time. They picked him up at the front of the Fort. What do we do? Well bike ride of course. We bike around for a bit and end playing bad joke bingo with another family. This was a lot of fun even if we did not win. Now it is time for dessert we head over to  P&J takeout and we each got strawberry shortcake. We have been to the Hoop Dee Doo a few times and it is the best strawberry shortcake I have ever had. I was so happy to see it here I can not even tell you. We found 2 rockers empty and I have to say this was one of the best moments of the trip. We just enjoyed the night and people watching having a super yummy dessert.
We head back to the camper and relaxed for a while. My son made it back and we went to bed. This was a great day!
Park day tomorrow but, we can sleep in and no rushing around.

We slept in this day and took it easy and then went to Disney Springs around 1:00 PM.  We wondered around in the shops until 3 when we ate at Raglan Road.  The server was great and the food was very good.  We also sampled the Raglan Road Signature Collection flight.  Good stuff.  My youngest son bought a long board, it was called a skate board when I was a teen-ager, at Ron Jon's.  Never road one before he bought it.  When we got back to the campground my oldest son taught him how to do it.  My youngest son also went to the Lego store while we were still wondering around World of Disney.  When we met him outside of it he had a VERY large Lego bag.  He bought himself a Midieval Blacksmith shop and a set for his girlfriend, she likes Legos too.  When we met him and saw the large bag he looked at us and said "This is your fault.  You shouldn't leave me unsupervised in a Lego store."  When we started planning this trip we told our kids that we would pay for the Campground, park tickets and the sit down meals.  Snacks and souvenirs were on them.  So it was his money so it was on him really.  It's a tradition to buy Christmas ornaments for everyone when we visit WDW so we did.  We then went back to the campground to visit the pool and hot tub.  Next we visit the Place That Can Not be Named!

Dinner what to do? Do we run to the store and make something, eat out or, get takeout? We are getting hungry we decide to go some where and sit on the patio and enjoy the nice night. I had heard somewhere that Millers Ale House was good. I called and asked if they had outdoor seating was told yes. We arrive my husband parks the van we have a big 12 passenger van so parking can be a bit tricky. I run in and ask the young employee at the front to be seated outside. He points and says if you find a table take it. Ok not off to a great start. I head in the direction that was so nicely pointed out to me. To find a open air bar not really the outdoor seating I was thinking. I see my husband and son and grab them. We did manage to find a table and we wait. It was very loud inside and lot's of people smoking. Finally a waiter comes over with some menus and takes are drink order. After a day at the beach in the sun we just want ice water. He does not seem very happy about that. He leaves we decide what we want and wait. While waiting we decide we should just get it to go. The music is so loud we have to shout at each other to be heard. We just wanted a quiet dinner outside. After waiting close to 15 min he arrives back with are water. We place a to go order with him. My son wants to look in those tacky gift shops for souvenirs for his friends. We leave my husband to wait for the food. The food is done really quick we rush my son and head back to the fort.
Now this is more like it a nice quiet table outside. We eat are dinner it was good not great. I do not think we will be going back. After dinner we watch a little TV and go to bed. Another no park tomorrow what will we do?

h2odivers...Ray reacted to Katman1356...Jason in Update to WDW Face Mask and Social Distancing policies effective June 15
Taken from a News Bulletin sent out to travel agents just a little while ago.

Within our communities, we’re encouraged that COVID-19 guidelines have been adjusted and eased by public health and government officials, paving the path for many businesses and industries to take positive steps forward.
As we have done since reopening, we’ve been very intentional and gradual in our approach to our COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Based on recent trends and guidance, Walt Disney World Resort will be making more adjustments to these measures, including physical distancing and face coverings.
Beginning June 15, you will start to notice the following changes:
    FACE COVERINGS
Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in most areas. Face coverings will still be required of all Guests on Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner. While we will not require proof of vaccination, we expect Guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, and upon entering and throughout all attractions and transportation. Guests must observe current policies on face coverings until June 15.
    PHYSICAL DISTANCING
We will be relaxing physical distancing guidelines for Guests. This will be visible in places like queues, shops, restaurants, attraction boarding, transportation and our theaters. It’s important to remember that some experiences and entertainment may still be operating with limited capacity or may remain temporarily unavailable. We’re not quite ready to bring back everything yet, but we are optimistic and look forward to the day when Disney pals and princesses are able to hug once again.
    CLEANING
We will continue the high standards for cleanliness and sanitation we’ve always set for ourselves. Cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer stations will still be available.
We encourage people to get vaccinated.

We make are way out we walk thru the castle. We take are time and really look around. We decide to not leave the park just yet. There is a mob of people walking out and a huge line to get in the shops.  We decide to take a bench down a side street by the glass shop. It is so quite here there is only 2 other people. This is the first time that I heard the singing lessons going on in one of the upstairs windows. After a bit I wander in the glass shop and look around. We sit down here for about a half hour. We then make a stop in the Town Hall I want to fill out a card about the great service I got earlier. There is a small wait I don't mind. After this I can't delay any longer we head out.
We find the boats and wait. We wait about 15 min when a boat pulls up for us. This time the captain tells us if we are using Disney transportation we need to wear are mask. We find a seat only to be moved 3 times trying to get everyone on. The captain was nice about it and we had a good time teasing him about it.
We get back to are site and find out we have new neighbors. The family that was packing up when we left is gone and someone new is in there spot. Ok so when are they closing the loop?
Tomorrow we get to sleep in no park. What will we do?

The first ride of the day is Pirates. Then Big thunder and Haunted mansion all three had a 20 min wait. We then board the Liberty Bell. While waiting to leave we see are first cavalcade. After a nice trip around and, lot's of waving we exit and plan to ride a raft over to Tom's island but it is not running. I then run into the Horseshoe restaurant to get some water while in there I have the nicest Cm help me out. After a quick break we see that the rafts are now running.
We have not been over to Tom Sawyer Island in a long time my son really doesn't remember it. Let me tell you how nice it is to have some room on those rafts. We explore the island for about a hour and head back out. It was a nice break away from the crowds. Next we head into Fantasyland and, ride Perter pan, It's a small world, Pooh and, we watch Mickey's PhillarMagic.
My son decides he wants a waffle and chicken sandwich. We had seen someone with it and they say it it's good. We head over and order at the window. While waiting we see another cavalcade. He enjoys his sandwich and the chips it comes with. We decide now is to the time to ride Splash. It's later in the day but not to late that you can still dry quickly. The line is a little bit shorter than what it was earlier.
Wait time is posted 60 min. It starts to sprinkle while we are in line but only lasts a few min. This might be the last time we ride it as Splash so we really wanted to make sure we ride it. It takes about 45 min not to bad. I'm short my son is tall I make sure he sit's in front of me. He get's the very front and get's pretty wet. I really only get a little wet. My plan worked! Big thunder only has a 15 min wait we all love this ride and take another trip on the wildest ride in the wilderness.
Now is the time of the day when we usually would head over to the Ice Cream Parlor and get a nice treat. Sadly it was not open. We look forward to this every trip. Now is it the best ice cream I have ever had? No but, it is something we have done since my son was little. They did have some ice cream available by Cosmic Rays but we decided to skip it.
My son and I get in line for Space Mountain my husband doesn't like this ride it's to rough for him he takes a pass. Wait time is posted 35 min. Soon after we are in line it starts to grow and wait time is posted 45 min. While we are doing this my husband mobile orders us some burgers and fries. We end up waiting the 35 min. This ride is rough but, I still like it. We find my husband eat and decide what's next. it's starting to get late we have to pick and choose.
We decide on Buzz again I find a really nice Cm while waiting in line and we chat for a few min. The final outcome was I was the biggest looser. We head over to the newly opened PeopleMover in which we wait longer than we did for Buzz.
We have time for one more ride. What will the last ride be?
