Gwen, I love South Carolina. I don't find it boring at all. Our oldest son was stationed at Charleston AFB for 18 years so we have spent a lot of time here.

It's been a pretty uneventful trip so far today. Which is okay with me. Weather is still good as is the traffic. We are now in South Carolina. So I am :wave1: to all my SC Fiends. :heartsmiley:

We were well fed. And honestly if we ever ate on time I'd think I was at the wrong house! Love you!! As for the bus driver......what a handsome devil and so polite. I would have thrown us off the bus after 5 minutes! :rofl2:

We left Rich and Lorna's around 8 this morning. Weather and traffic have been good. So far just a leisurely drive down the highway. Maria is towing like a dream. I forget she is back there.

After dinner we went back to Gary and Marilyn's site. Lou and Gail were there waiting for us. Missy stopped by too. Sorry again, no pictures. But honestly those of you who know should be proud that I remembered to take as many as I did. :rofl2: We sat and visited for a while and then Missy said she had a surprise for us. Seems she has inside information. Are you ready? TJ had a stop at Fort Wilderness. :jumpforjoy He had an empty bus so Mike, Lorna, Rich, Missy and I all jumped on board and took a ride to his next stop. We gave him a hard time and misbehaved badly. >:D One of us m

Now for Sunday. The plan was to go to the Fort and visit Gary and Marilyn, and have lunch.Great plan. Easy plan. Unless you are a Fiend. We started here. We decide on Trail's End for lunch after Lorna calls the front desk to find out if they are serving lunch. She was assured that yes lunch is served but not the buffet. Ok that's fine we can order off the menu. Wellllllll. No lunch buffet or otherwise but dinner will be served at 4:30. Ok it is 3 o'clock but the girls at the check in tell Wilderness Lodge is serving. New plan. We go down to the bus stop to catch a bus and run into TCD. Sor

Let's see, where did we leave off? Oh yes, it's Saturday and we have company coming.Lorna and I made a sort of quick run to Publix and then it was back home to wait for Tim and Sheila and a surprise guest. What do you do when company arrives? You EAT! Unless you're at Lorna's. I think it is an unwritten law that dinner is always late. :heart: But what is this I see? Rich and Lorna are in the kitchen. . Here comes the feast. And oh how good it was. So worth the wait. It was a great night with great friends. It was hard to say goodbye but I knew we would see them tomorrow.

I haven't forgotten you. Been a busy weekend but tomorrow I will have no distractions. You will get my undivided attention.

We will be here till Monday.

Dinner was Italian. The mussels disappeared before I got my phone out but here are our entree's. Linguine with clam sauce. Baked Ziti Lasagna Good food, good fiends , good times!

Today Maria got a new pair of shoes. It was hot but we had a nice breeze. She looks all spiffy now and is ready to go to her new home!

Jason, you know me too well. :rofl2: No pood forn from last night we were all to hungry so the food was gone before I even thought about pictures. As soon as I finish this post the Pup is getting new shoes. :) I will take pictures and post when we are done. So stay tuned.
