Thanks. Oddly after it doing it a thousand times, it finally just stopped and stayed out. Hopefully that doesn't mean it's staying out for good!
We did have them replaced after they broke when a heavy guy stepped on them while doing the state inspection a couple of years ago, so I can sympathize with you too!
 

What it comes  down to is that Disney's reservation system just sucks. They overbook when there are empty sites, they screw people over to try and make more money. They make it difficult as hell for someone to get a quick weekend, yet they have empty sites available. holidays are a joke  and it's nearly impossible to do the right thing and book a year out and get a reservation but yet if you book a day before somehow sites mysteriously appear.   And I know it's not all from cancellations. I guess you can say I was lucky enough to speak to someone way up in reservations. They basically gave me a song and dance about trying to reserve a site nine months out. I'm at the point that I'm really over fort wilderness.  yes, Disney has a good thing with the campgrounds, but it's kind of out of hand. I'm at the point that I rather just park my RV in my backyard and camp there instead of putting up with the BS that Disney forces on us these days. Yes I'm being negative, but I am still pissed that I cannot get the dates I want a year and a half out. 

I was thinking the same thing. We are headed down next week, and a small fort crowd would be nice. 

I think it's the real deal. The WDW bloggers are all so beholden to WDW that they aren't going to post anything that might cut off their free perks.
Universal also sells a front of the line pass.
The article says the WDW parks are the only theme parks in Central Florida that do not sell a skip the line pass.
There's no way WDW management can resist this easy money grab for much longer.

I agree about doing it wrong LOL, I don't think we did enough research and felt like we were lost.
We are so used to Disney and knowing our way around. I think a big attraction is their shows and we did see one, but planning is the key at Dollywood (I think)
we are going back to Townsend KOA in June, we might give Dollywood another shot, anyone going to be in the area last week of June?

My girls want to go. Maybe we can coordinate our trips.

I wasn't going to say anything but before a million show up I think I should. 
I took the liberty of ordering 6 and having them shipped c/o the Millers. They should get delivered tomorrow if all goes well. 
It seemed wrong to me that they weren't there for the kids to learn and play with. 
My Christmas present to the Fiends and the Fort. 

Thanks to Jason, we now have NYE!!!! Jason is a great TA! NYE is almost impossible to get but he did.

Gabe has had two official offers.  But it will be about a year before the serious offers arrive since he's an upcoming junior.  Meanwhile, he has 20+ coaches talking to and watching him, including Clemson, University of Georgia, Florida.  And one of the coaches from an official offer texts him every single day.   

Meanwhile his mom and the kids are moving back to SC so Gabe and Ethan can play at Dorman High School in Spartanburg.  They are a powerhouse.

You know I had thought about driving to Charlotte to pick up I-77, and that will take me right past you guys... Have a bag packed by the door and be ready.  However, I may take Hwy 1 toward Sanford and Aberdeen and hopefully can pick up I-95 in SC...
Thanks Beckers... Getting word through Facebook and the news that I-95 is still blocked from Dunn through Fayetteville, then again down near Lumberton.  I may have to take my alternate route...

You could pick up the other Millers in High Point. Safe travels & have a great time.

Good Morning All,  I just checked in with Gwen and David, and they are on I-85 N entering SC from GA.  Looks like the absolutely made the right decision to take the long way home!

You should probably change the thread title... it took me a while to work up the courage to click on it lol.

We will continue overnighting at Flying Js and Cracker Barrels.  We fuel up and eat there.

MaryAnn, check out Tanglewood Park in Clemmons too.

Had blood tests run last week ... 15 vials of blood.  My doctor saw something unusual in my clotting factor and had her assistant call me today to say I have to go back on Xarelto for the trip.  Have a consultation with doctor next Wednesday.
I'm disappointed that I have to go back on the medicine but relieved that I'll be protected during the trip.

There is Nova Campground in Port Orange right pass Daytona off of 95, not too far from the beach. Ok for an overnight stop.

We used Anastasia State park near St. Augustine, campsites a short walk to the beach but this might be farther off 95 then you want.
