  1. Woo Hoo!! This is on my bucket list!! (not being first on a TCD TR running at Disney!!) (I'll read it now. lol) :jumpforjoy
  2. Wow! Thanks Guys! Way to freak a woman out!! To elaborate: yes, "Trixie's" base vehicle weight is 1560, her GVWR according to the owners manual is 1995. She has a 10 gallon water tank that we will not be traveling full for any reason. Gear inside will include a Coleman Tailgater grill, G&E convection over, coffee maker, kitchen supplies. The van will be me (155lbs), hubby (185lbs), girl child (48lbs), boy child (34lbs) and George the dog (47lbs). Along with our dorm sized fridge, food tote, cooler and clothes drawers ( plastic storage drawers). My, much more experience than I, stepdad wen
  3. I guess at this point I have no choice. :) "Trixie" (the pop up) weighs 1800lbs. Hopefully we'll be able to pull her the 30 or so miles to our local state parks. As that will be the extent of our vacationing this summer.
  4. We purchased a "very" vintage Coleman Sequioa that I will be towing with my 2008 Kia Sedona. It has a 3500lb tow rating also. Granted we haven't taken it anywhere yet, as I just had the hitch installed last week. We're figuring with people and gear, we will be way under the 3500lbs. Good luck with shopping!
  5. Oh I need to tell my mom! She was grilling our bus drivers last year about working for the mouse! Lol
  6. Zach had the birthday cake with his lunch the day we hit there. He didn't eat it. The cake was good but all that icing was too sweet. I threw most of it away, even with 4 adults sitting there.
  7. Ooo ooo! I'm in! I missed all the fun so I'm definitely following this thread! :jumpforjoy
  8. Yay! Another TCD report. I need to start mine soon, but life keeps getting in the way. Congrats to the twins on getting into their dream schools! :thewave1: (First page maybe?) :rofl2:
  9. We did our shopping Saturday nite at Walmart on Vineland. Crazy busy!! But prices were comparable to home. The only thing that freaked me out was the $5.95/gal gas I saw tonight over by the outlets!
  10. Forgot about this thread...posted on the site # one. Alerope & Charitycase20...2004 until 2/15. :)
  11. Don't quote me on this but in January 2012 we renting a scooter from Apple (I think) for my MIL. Great service and that scooter would GO! They seemed to be the cheapest also. ;D
  12. Oh Aaron...so jealous!! Cannot wait to get outta here on Friday evening. Will you still be around on Saturday?
  13. One more thing...any info on the Fort for 2/9-15? Movies and such? Thank you, oh great and powerful content po-po. :D
  14. Do you think you need reservations for Splitsville? It's on our to do list in !8! days!!! But it would probably be a spur of the moment thing.
  15. I've been contemplating going raw or at least homemade with George. We can't seem to find a food that doesn't bother his skin (horribly dry). Not to mention he must be allergic to flea bites, I have to be super digilent with the flea meds every month. My only problem is actually $$$. We are spending roughly $50 a month on kibble/wet food. Can we do raw/homemade for that amount?
  16. Very cool! I have made Alex promise to stop in Daytona on our way home from the Fort next month. Mainly he wants to actually hit the BEACH (its been really cold up here, we're having withdrawals) but I want to see some racing stuff. :thumbsup3: Do they have a musuem or anything? Off to Google... :puter:
  17. See, I knew the Fiends would have an answer. So the plan is to hop the boat to the Contempory, grab the monorail to the Poly for breakfast. Hit the coffee bar first and then on to Captn Cooks for Tonga Toast! :bellringer: Hopefully I can score something yummy there that my dang picky kids will eat too. :rofl2:
  18. We've decided to really kick back in 2 weeks and I cancelled the dining ressies I had made for our trip. BUT I really want some Tonga Toast and Kona coffee (Alex is a coffee snob). Don't really want to fuss with a reservation at Kona Cafe but I know I can get Tonga Toast at Captn Cooks. Do they serve Kona also? or just the Nescafe stuff? Anyone? :wave1:
  19. Yep, I'm not sure what is going on but i thought Maryland was in the south! I'm freezing! Feb 8th can't get here fast enough!
  20. Awesome TR!! I couldn't get that much accomplished with just 2 kids! :whew:
  21. I'm in...first page for me too? It would be first!! :wave1: Edited to add...Thank you for the shots of Curt's pup. We're renting from him in exactly !22! days! lol
  22. MD trip reports are always so much FUN!! Love them, can't wait to read more! **I NEED a couple of your camping playlists, Alex (me too) would love them!**
  23. Oh poor baby! Thats the one reason I would never take my kitties camping.
