So I know from the website the forts address is 4510 North fort wilderness trail, Lake buena Vista, FL. GPS is unable to find this but can find the same address for Orlando. it brings us in 95 south to exit 260b onto 4 west. Follow 4 west to exit 68 to state road 535 N towards Kissimmee. left on winter garden Vineland rd, left on vista blvd then right on fort wilderness trail. Does this sound right and is this route ok for a 22 ft pickup towing a 30 ft travel travel trailer? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

is this worth it? we have ressies at cinderella's castle for breakfast during our stay. Is it worth the $$ for the hair/makeup/nails package? We will bring our own dress for DD. She is 6 and into hair, makeup, and mani/pedi when I let her. is this worth the money or would I be better off treating her to a spa day somewhere else? thanks

What are you allowed to do at the other resorts? ie use restaurants, pools etc

perfect ,that will work well with our plans as we plan to overnight somewhere a little north of or near Jacksonville and finish out the drive the day of check in.

What are the check in and out times? Do they charge an early check in fee? If we get there early and our site is not ready, is there anywhere to plug into electric in the overflow area or should we prepare to be hot for a bit? (We're going in August). Or is there somewhere cool we can wait it out? thanks

Ok great thanks. We dont mind noise during the day as much as at night. We had thought about 1400 but were afraid of noise from the big campfire. 1400 might be a second place request.

After checking out the wonderful info provided on this site I've been thinking about requesting a loop close to a playground and pool. We originally were going to book a preferred site until we realized its close to the mk boats but nothing else. We were worried about the noise from boat horns etc. we upgraded our choice to premium and are looking at loop 1300. Is this a good loop for a family w/ a 6 yr old and no golf cart? We are leaving the dog at a doggy camp back home so we don't need a pet loop but don't care either way on that one. Thanks

I found this board last year and quietly sneaked in the back door. I managed to find my way to the chat room where I have met lots of wonderful fiends. We talk about fort things but mostly what is going on in our lives or whatever crazy thoughts come our way that night. I am not there often but when I do return I am always welcomed with open arms. Silly questions but I noticed when I was looking at the videos of the loop sites (awesome job on that by the way) that there are no fire pits in the sites. Are campfires allowed at the sites? If fires are allowed, are fire pits there or do you have to bring your own? Also, are you allowed to use your own gas grill or do you have to use the provided charcoal grills? Thanks

Thanks for the warm welcome and the info. CKCK- We looked at the ZT26BH but thought the ZT26BL was a little better floorplan for us (allows family to join us and not trip over the 70 lb dog so much). We have been to disney years ago before we were married and parents. Now we have a 4 1/2 yr old DD (will be 5 possibly six depending on when we go next year). Trying to figure out our best and most affordable options. We like many others, need to stretch our dollar but don't want to sacrifice too much in doing so. My first thought was about the weight. Looking on line it lists iver 8600 dry weight (no GVWR or cargo capacity listed) and a hitch weight of 1180 lbs. It is also 12'6" tall. That is one big trailer!
