  3. There is some base pricing examples in the comments on my post but it is expensive. I think the two nights was $4800 for 2 adults in the example date range.

  5. I will have a longer review on my page most likely but here it is, and the buffet lovers may disagree/hate me for it. This was the best dinner I have had at Trails End in years. Sure I missed some minor elements (bread pudding) but the ability of the food was superior and it was hot and fresher than the buffet. Having it served vs. buffet was nice as well. Anything we wanted more of they were happy to bring. The andouille, brisket, rotisserie chicken, breads, and salad and really everything was great. I am not a fluff piece kind of person. I showed up expecting to be really
  6. I got rotisserie and fried. There is a delay for the fried and it is super hot and fresh as it’s made to order. The rotisserie is really good too. There is not guarantee you will always get the fried chicken but it falls under the it certainly can’t hurt to ask category. Short version is everything has been awesome and, to me, higher quality than the buffet
  7. No promises on live at the Fort but I will be putting pictures and review of my experience up on my business Facebook page tonight at some point. https://www.facebook.com/JasonWithMouseCounselors

  10. The ability to book Trails End opened up this morning. I have a reservation for dinner on the 18th and will be posting on my Facebook business page. I will try to bounce over here and give an update as well sometime that night.
  11. Please remember I only share the news I get from Disney. This is all copy and pasted direct from the notification I just received. Enjoy The Magic of Staying at a Disney Resort Hotel During Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary We’re just 93 days away from “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” in honor of Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary, but who’s counting? As we near this special milestone, we are excited to bring you more details on new benefits coming to the Disney Resorts Collection as part of the celebration.
  12. So far no offers have been released for the Fall. I don’t expect much if availability is any sign. It’s been a struggle all over finding available space for people, especially groups of 6
  13. I am imagining they have a smaller fried for keeping up with the take out orders a small when you order and wait say 15 minutes it’s not that big a deal. But with family style and hopefully all you care to eat (if all goes well I will be there July 18 for dinner and report back) being told it will be 15 minutes while they prepare it might be a different story and slow down a full restaurant setting. With the buffet and HDDR they probably had much larger fryers to mass produce and keep it turning over.
  14. They have updated the menu and opening date in MDE but no change as of now for P&J. Hopefully that option doesn’t change.
  15. I am wondering too if it has to do with kitchen staffing and capacities. Rotisserie chicken is easier to keep up with than fried chicken. When Trails End has made it in the past for the buffet it was also for Hoop Dee Doo. It suggests to me the set up is massive for cooking it and it doesn’t hold up well for long.
  16. I am trying to find out details of when the ability to book Trails End opens.
