2021 Walt Disney World tickets are now on sale for use dates out to Sept 26, 2021.

If you need tickets for a trip already booked for 2021 please consider purchasing through me. It does not cost you and more than buying them directly but I do get to make a little money off of them.

    Thanks

2020 tickets and reservations back on sale tomorrow.

Direct from Walt Disney World. 2020 tickets and reservations back on sale. If you have something you are looking for for tickets or reservations at the select hotels that have reopened for 2020 dates let me know. I am happy to help!
    [email protected]
Magic is here! In just a few more days, we’ll begin welcoming the first guests back to the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort, starting July 11 with Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and followed July 15 by EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We’re continuing to prepare for these openings in a measured and deliberate way, implementing health and safety measures with cast members and guests in mind.
As you may recall, earlier we had temporarily paused 2020 ticket sales and Disney Resort hotel bookings so we could focus on helping existing ticket holders and Annual Passholders plan their visits with the new Disney Park Pass theme park reservation system. We are glad to share that tomorrow, July 9, we are resuming Disney Resort hotel bookings, packages and ticket sales for 2020. In preparation, our booking systems will be unavailable overnight, beginning at approximately midnight Eastern this evening. When systems come back online in the morning, you’ll be able to purchase new tickets and plan future visits throughout this year with the Disney Park Pass system, which we are using to help manage attendance.
All guests with valid admission are required to make a reservation in advance for each park entry, so be sure to have your guests check the park reservation availability calendar before purchasing any new tickets. Guests should then go to www.StartYourDisneyExperience.com (www.CommencezVotreExperienceDisney.com in Quebec) after purchase to link their tickets and make park reservations. Reservations are limited and subject to availability.
When adding theme park tickets to a new 2020 package, your clients will now have the option of choosing tickets for 2 to 7 days in length. Certain ticket and package options, such as the Park Hopper option, Minnie Van Airport Service and Disney Dining Plan packages, are currently unavailable.
A new digital flyer and Facebook graphic will be available tomorrow in DisneyCopyright.com.
Please note that, during this phased reopening, some tickets, ticket options and Disney Resort hotels are unavailable, but there are still a variety of options to choose from.
Though the experience may be different than the last time your clients visited, there is so much to look forward to, with many favorite attractions and dozens of entertainment offerings available across all four theme parks, including special new character cavalcades and the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
When planning a visit for this year, we recommend checking out our “Know Before You Go” page on the Walt Disney World microsite, which features tips and information, including how to make park reservations after purchasing tickets.
We realize that everyone’s situation is unique, so if you have specific questions about upcoming plans, please call the Disney Reservation Center.

Currently they have only reopened booking up to a check out of Sept 27, 2021. No word on when the rest will be released. As of when things went down we could only get to Mid-November under the new rules that went into place last year. Instead of 499 days to when you check out, it is now 500 days to when you check in plus 30 additional days. I am closely watching for when things come back so I can get clients booked as soon as it opens.

While I love the current Splash Mountain theming, I am ok with this change.  Most kids today have never seen or heard of Uncle Remus and the Brer Rabbit stories, and cannot connect.   Like Mr. Toad,  Uncle Remus' time has passed.  The Princess and the Frog also has great songs, and I'm hoping to be able hear 'Gonna to take you there" with Raymond.  I got so attached to that bug.

Katman1356...Jason got a reaction from fladogfan aka Gretchen in Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Getting rethemed to Princess and the Frog
From an email to travel agents but I believe it is circulating elsewhere as well.   I don't mind this idea. Princess and the Frog are a favorite movie and I think Splash Mountain lends itself to retheming to this.

Today we are thrilled to share a first glimpse of a project Imagineers have been working on since last year. Splash Mountain – at both Disneyland park in California and Magic Kingdom park in Florida – will soon be completely reimagined. The theme is inspired by an all-time favorite animated Disney film, “The Princess and the Frog.” We pick up this story after the final kiss, and join Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film – as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.

Tiana is a modern, courageous, and empowered woman, who pursues her dreams and never loses sight of what’s really important. It’s a great story with a strong lead character, set against the backdrop of New Orleans and the Louisiana bayou. In 1966, Walt himself opened New Orleans Square when it became the first new “land” added to Disneyland park, so it feels natural to link the story and the incredible music of “The Princess and the Frog” to our parks.

The voice of Princess Tiana and Tony Award-winning actress, Anika Noni Rose, shared, “It is really exciting to know that Princess Tiana’s presence in both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom will finally be fully realized! As passionate as I am about what we created, I know the fans are going to be over the moon. The Imagineers are giving us ‘The Princess and the Frog’ Mardi Gras celebration we’ve been waiting for, and I’m here for it!”

The approach to retheming or “plussing” attractions (as Walt Disney referred to it) begins with Imagineers asking the question, how can we build upon or elevate the experience and tell a fresh, relevant story? It’s a continuous process that Imagineers are deeply passionate about. And with this longstanding history of updating attractions and adding new magic, the retheming of Splash Mountain is of particular importance today. The new concept is inclusive – one that all of our guests can connect with and be inspired by, and it speaks to the diversity of the millions of people who visit our parks each year.

Charita Carter, the senior creative producer leading the project at Walt Disney Imagineering shared, “Like Princess Tiana, I believe that courage and love are the key ingredients for wonderful adventures. I am delighted to be a part of bringing this fun-filled experience to our guests.”

For Imagineers, change is rooted in a tradition set by Walt Disney who encouraged new innovations, new ideas, new scenes and current storytelling. And the experiences they create can be enjoyed by guests who visit our parks from all over the world.

As part of the creative development process, conceptual design work is well underway and Imagineers will soon be able to conduct preliminary reviews and develop a timeline for when the transformation can start to take shape.

    Stay tuned for more!

The three day limit is for those with out onsite or good neighbor hotels (havent seen a specific list of those, Four Seasons, Swan and Dolphin, Disney Springs are all ones I do know)

Some AP holders with onsite reservations were having issues with only allowing 3 days but that seems to have been corrected to allow for length of stay up to 14 days to now be booked.

As far as I know that 3 days limit is until you use a day then you can make another. I could be wrong on that but I do not know. Word is though for AP with out a resort they are going to be releasing additional Park Pass availability. Havent seen that direct from Disney though so don't hold me to it.

And in case anyone hasnt seen this yet here is the Park Pass availability calendar you can check out before booking things. To see availability right now be sure to click on Disney Resort Guests until the other options open up.

As of now no change in the prices and I have not heard anything so far about them being reduced.
however it is important to note also tickets and new reservations do not have a date for resuming sales as of now. It will depend on availability and may happen later this summer.

Here is the notification that went out today from the travel agent site.

UPDATE – June 8, 2020: Disney Magic Sailings Suspended Through October 2, 2020
All of us at Disney Cruise Line hope you and your clients are staying well. While COVID-19 continues to impact all our lives, we are inspired daily by the stories of care, compassion and resilience around the globe.
With the wellbeing of our Guests and team members as our top priority and in line with direction from health experts and government officials, Disney Cruise Line is extending the suspension of Disney Magic up to and including the October 2, 2020 sailing. This means that your clients’ sailing has been cancelled.
In light of this cancellation, for your clients who are not paid in full, we will automatically refund any payment made toward the booking. This refund will be processed back to the original form of payment, but may be delayed due to the high volume.

For your clients who are paid in full, we are offering them the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing that commences prior to March 31, 2022, or a full refund. The credit has been automatically added to their account. You may place a reservation on hold for your clients by applying it as a payment option when booking a new reservation online at DisneyTravelAgents.com.

For your clients who purchased the Adventures by Disney Cruise or Escape Package on six of the sailings as part of their vacation, the package will automatically be refunded back to the original form of payment.
    Impacted departures include:

Please note that we will continue to protect travel professionals’ commission on the original sailing that is paid in full and cancelled by Disney Cruise Line. For reservations that were booked using a Future Cruise Credit from a sailing previously cancelled by Disney Cruise Line, commission on a second sailing will be earned only if the sailing commences and will not be earned if the sailing is cancelled by Disney Cruise Line. In this instance, commission will be paid following the standard commission payment process.

Thank you for your and your clients’ patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming them aboard as soon as we can and making magic for them and their loved ones.

*The Future Cruise Credit is equal to 125% of your clients’ original voyage fare plus the cost of the Vacation Protection Plan, if applicable.  The FCC is only valid for sailings departing prior to March 31,2022. Your clients’ original reservation must be paid in full to be eligible for the FCC. The FCC is applied per person and is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash value. Standard prevailing rates apply and Guests are responsible for any balance due after the FCC has been applied. If your clients end up not being able to use the FCC, they will be eligible for a refund up to the amount of their original voyage fare plus the cost of the Vacation Protection Plan, if applicable. Standard cancellation policies and terms and conditions apply to future sailings. Guests who previously received a FCC are not eligible for an additional FCC.

At this time they have taken down the ability to make new reservations, dining reservations, and Fastpasses while I assume they get everything in place and started for the new set up. I will update if I see any of these have been turned back on.

I am still sorting through everything and I dont know that I can keep popping over here to update today. Here is what I know so far.  I will keep updating my Facebook page as I get more information. Here is a link to it. https://www.facebook.com/JasonWithMouseCounselors

Updated 12:40 pm 5/27 Walt Disney World has also taken ticket sales offline for now.
"Because theme park capacity will be significantly limited as we welcome Guests back to the magic, we will manage attendance through a new theme park reservation system that will require all Guests to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance. At this time, we are temporarily pausing new ticket sales and Disney Resort hotel reservations so we can focus on Guests with existing tickets and reservations. (Disney Vacation Club members can still make new reservations.) Existing ticket holders and Annual Passholders will be able to make reservation requests in phases before new tickets are sold; we’ll be reaching out to these Guests soon to provide additional details. We will resume new ticket sales and hotel reservations after that period of time. Theme park reservations will be limited due to attendance limitations and will be subject to availability. More details about this new reservation system will be available soon."

BREAKING NEWS: Disney World has presented its plans for a phased reopening before the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force group. Disney World plans to begin its phased reopening on the following dates:
Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Saturday, July 11
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT – Wednesday, July 15
Soft openings will occur before those dates with cast members and other invited audiences.
Disney World will reopen much like Shanghai Disneyland on the basis of a reservation system. Guests will have to secure a reservation for the day they intend to attend a park.
The parks will reopen at limited capacity, with gradual increases as the county progresses through reopening phases. Theme park reservations will be required in advance of visiting, with details to be announced at a later date.
Social distancing and face masks will be enforced throughout the parks, and temperature checks will be required for access to the parks.
There is no word yet on how Disney will integrate those who have package reservations or when resort hotels will open. We will continue to update this post with additional reopening details, protocols, and more as they are announced in the meeting.
