  1. I can think of a dozen things in Animal Kingdom that are fantasy including an entire land now. Don't even get me started on Disco Yeti. Had to try the bananas...
  2. The "Not A Zoo" part was just fantasy. https://www.aza.org/current-accreditation-list
  3. He has so much right brain that there is no room left for the left brain.. Extremely creative guy... Don't expect any logic.
  4. Or we could add a few princesses and call it a Frozen thread. Then there would be a wait to get in.. Or we could add strobes............
  5. Well I think it is no longer a duplicate of the original so deleting the duplicate no longer applies. I would consider it officially hijacked.. Jen????
  6. Be careful deleting threads. I tried once and my whole sweater came apart.
  7. I did Legoland just before they opened the first hotel. I was not impressed. I think the Disney fiend in me leaves me with too high expectations.
  8. OK, I'm in.. I don't think I have ever been first in a trip report before..
  9. On any trailer (5th wheel included) changing the weight distribution has an effect on handling. Adding over 1000 pounds behind the axles is never a good idea.
  10. Every time I have done it there were no issues. Just go to the front desk on your last day there, tell them something came up at home and you need to leave early. WARNING - I may get flamed for this and it may not be PC but as I said.. It works.
  11. Just came across this graphic. http://blogs.cars.com/.a/6a00d83451b3c669e2010537089bd1970b-800wi
  12. Here is the current Florida Statutes defining what a trailer is. 316.003(89) TRAILER.—Any vehicle with or without motive power, other than a pole trailer, designed for carrying persons or property and for being drawn by a motor vehicle. And just in case someone tries to argue the pole trailer definition. 316.003(52) POLE TRAILER.—Any vehicle without motive power designed to be drawn by another vehicle and attached to the towing vehicle by means of a reach or pole, or by being boomed or otherwise secured to the towing vehicle, and ordinarily used for transporting long or irregula
  13. Hope all works out for you. I can't imagine trying to recover from a sway on the back of a 5er. Also would guess that because when moving forward the swivel wheels are at the rear of the trailer, the weight of the cart was really messing with the balance front to rear on the 5er.
  14. I actually had this conversation with Chris at Smart today. In Florida if it has wheels, lights, etc. It is a trailer and can not be towed behind another trailer which in Florida includes a 5er Smart actually even has a VIN and requires an additional tag on it. Had a court case a few years back and was told if it touches the ground it is an additional axle and considered a trailer. There are a few exceptions for farm equipment but this certainly would not count.
  15. Diver, please do not take this in the wrong way because we all have done it.. But.. As a former police officer I want to point something out. Florida's Move Over Law States: Drivers must vacate the lane closest to the stationary emergency vehicle, tow truck, sanitation, or utility vehicle. Drivers must slow down to a speed of 20 mph below the posted speed limit if they cannot move over safely. If you think that gust of wind was rough on you, imagine what it is like for police officers or workers on the side of the road. I should also point out that under Florida law, You can not
  16. I did a one day hop though there the weekend before they closed last October. We arrived late on a Friday night and stayed at the RV park just down the block. Spent all Saturday in the park. They also had a Halloween event going on and did some of the houses, but when you have Universal Halloween Horror night so close by, the houses were a disappointment. Let me tell you, riding coasters in 43 degrees when you are from South Florida is interesting. We did the express pass (forgot the actual name) and were able to ride most all of the coasters. Would not have been able to without the pass. Make
  17. I am from South Florida. You would be AMAZED how many immigrants they can fit in those small boats.
  18. Uhh... Ohh.. Looks like that MGM (Hollywood) Studios water tower will just have to go... You need to do it over with a Chinese Theater.. (No Not A Sorcerers Hat).. Or just to be safe you may want to use a Millennium Falcon. LOL.... Looks great..
  19. This is from 2013 http://thedisneyblog.com/2013/01/08/proposal-a-solution-to-walt-disney-worlds-transportation-problems/ http://thedisneyblog.com/2013/01/08/proposal-a-solution-to-walt-disney-worlds-transportation-problems/wdw-gondola-f/
  20. I would not immediately rule Thor coaches out. They own many of the major brands including Airstream and Jayco. I have a 2015 Miramar that I love. All of the nightmare stories I have heard about Thor have been dealers not backing the products they sell. I have only had minor issues with my Miramar and have called Thor tech a few times with questions (24/7 Support) and have no complaints. For 100K I have a Class A that has many features of ones costing allot more. Could fit and finish be a bit better, absolutely.. But at this price I feel I got my $$ worth.
  21. I did not see the actual sites (pads) flooded. Just the low lying tree filled area around them. I did not go into the areas that were barricaded so I did not get photos and can not be sure.
  22. When I had spoken to Ken on Saturday morning and asked about extending my stay he indicted it was no problem and I was able to get two extra days. From the sound of it there were massive cancellations due to the storm.
