Anyone concerned with the EXIF photo info. Just resize or open and "save as" the image and in most cases the EXIF is gone. Keep in mind that only cameras with a GPS can embed a location. Common cameras do not have GPS ability and a WiFi only iPad or iPod also does not have the GPS. The best part of the trip reports are the pictures.

Do not see anything. It actually looks like it was a "save as" that no longer has the original info.

iPhones and iPads do add the GPS location. Do not know about Android.. Unless they are high-end most common cameras do not.

If you upload the original file, it is there. There are allot of ways to view the different segments. I usually just open it in Photoshop and select file info.

Actually most photos have information added to the original image. The slide image was taken on 8/6 at 9:13:26pm with your Sony DSC-W650 camera with the lens zoomed to 4.5mm at 1/8 sec on f 2.6 with the flash on and red eye turned off.. Kinda creepy ... some even include GPS info.

Guessing the premiums are a bit bigger then that.. Or at least hoping..

When we go we are pulling the 26' TT with my truck. We also have 2 other family members driving up that will be registered as guests (4 of us total) They have a small Hyundai. We have reserved a premium site. Will we be able to park the additional vehicle at our site?

I have a Dewalt Mobilelock in my TT (actually in several vehicles). It not only will call you if there is vibration but can be set to call you for high or low temperatures also. It is primarily a burglar alarm with GPS but has several added features. If I had to leave a pet inside I would just set it a few degrees higher then the ac thermostat and it would call me before things became uncomfortable.

I wish just my roots were grey (or purple)..

I bought the Dometic.. It is the same unit as the Magic Chef. Has a bit more capacity then the cheaper units and is faster. Got a good deal (few bucks cheaper then the Magic Chef's online) and no shipping.

Dometic has a portable ice maker out. The local RV store has it on sale. How common are ice makers when camping? Is this even something worthwhile? Been getting some new toys before my first trip and tossed a few ice trays in my cart. At the register the lady acted like I couldn't live without this thing. She also sold me a filter that goes after the pressure regulator that she also sold me along with the two white hoses. Starting to think I should have been kissed.....

Looks like many campers have pretty elaborate setups when parked (rugs, chairs, grills, etc.) What is the usual procedure for going to the parks during the day? Do you pack everything up and lock it, leave it out?? Have there been issues with unsecured stuff? How about break-ins? Steve
