  1. I was on the Oasis on that cruise. The seas were rough at cozumel during the day but had calmed during the evening, though it was still rough. The ship was not doing any major "rocking and rolling". I have a pretty weak stomach and was seasick earlier in the day but not in the evening. My husband and I were out walking the track (on the 5th deck) in the evening. I would NOT have been out walking anywhere if the ship was rocking and rolling. I would be curled up in bed in a fetal position. Anyways, I don't recall any huge waves coming up onto the 5th deck during the time we were out
  2. I'm pretty sure that the yellow flies are hanging around outside my RV door waiting for me to come out because every time I try to sit out under the awning, the flies appear. I got 5 new bites today...in the middle of the day. I did manage to swat one of those nasty little suckers out of the air. It was stunned and dropped to the ground and I finished it off. I will have welts from those bites for the rest of the summer. I think I must be allergic to them.
  3. I'd prefer it to be a Trader Joes. Fits the theme better than whole foods. Not that either of these is going to happen (I hope)
  4. I am an infrequent poster here and was the same on the other place but I usually checked in on a regular basis to see what was happening. During the "great flush", I wasn't checking in at all...I was at the Fort, without internet access. When I came home I noticed a void. You were all gone so I went hunting. It took me a while. I checked a lot on the other board at first, but any and all references to what happened was deleted and discouraged and more people seemed to disappear if they asked. I didn't want to "disappear" (didn't want to be wearing cement galoshes at the bottom of the Atl
  5. I remember it well... I also recall the little "chuck wagon" truck that came around the loops in the morning bringing fresh fruits and other foods. I recall when trams were used to move guests around the campground, not busses and there were no guests in golf carts. Most people were in tents or pop-ups, though there were a few motor homes. I have a picture of me with a deer that came onto the campsite. It was eating out of my hand and quite willing to "pose" for a picture. The beach was open. You could swim out to a small floating dock. There were a lot fewer loops back then. Yeah, I'
  6. We stayed there on our way to WDW after a cross country trip a few years back. If we were in the area again, we would seek it out. We were there with our 4 kids, two were teens and they enjoyed it as much as the young ones did (a 10 year old and a 4 year old). At the time, horseback rides were offered and we enjoyed that immensely.
  7. Thanks. I looked at Mousesavers too. Usually they are "on top" of these with the codes. I will go retrieve my AP from my RV and see what I can find.
  8. We have reservations already booked for those dates. Is there a "code" (those 3 letter things) that we need to refer to in order to rebook at a discount?
