This is a micro trip report . I just want to give TCD a high five for recommending Park Vue Inn. We are here now, the location is fantastic and the rooms are great. We are in a room with 3 queens, the only thing available, and it would be great for a family. Two queens in one room, and the other queen in a separate room. Thanks for the recommendation!

Gulf Waters RV Resort in Port Aransas, TX is very nice. They have a nice Boardwalk to the beach, each site is individually landscaped with trees, barbecue pits, wind blocks, grass or pavers. You can bring your golf cart which must be insured and street legal and licensed for Port Aransas. You can drive your cart on the beach, in the resort and anywhere in Port Aransas.

You should post this on facebook . There are a couple of pages devoted to the fort and you would get a lot of coverage. I hope you find your cat.

Why don't you just cut new foam to fit and throw away the old foam. If the memory foam is an inch, buy two inch regular or high density foam to use as a base and put the memory foam on top. Should make comfortable seating and a good mattress for sleeping. Joann's sells all the base foam.

Just saw a post from Nancy Spann that the parade will start at 6:00. We're still going to be out at 5:30 just in case that info is wrong. We don't want to miss any of it.

There are impressive displays in every loop right now. I've never seen so many decorations in all the loops. Some of the large decorated sites are not here, but there is still a lot to see.

I'm not crafty enough to accomplish that kind of project, but I wonder if you could find the word stencils or premade words in the scrapbooking section of any craft store.

Here's another one I've made. The boys all like the polo shirts better than regular Tee's.

Thanks for posting your pictures,they're great! I love seeing real pictures of campgrounds, especially if I'm planning on staying there. I've picked some really bad campgrounds in the past based on staged pictures and ratings. What RV park did you stay at in Vicksburg? Your pictures are great because you've already been on all the trips we're planning. What time of the year did you go to the Grand Canyon? The park didn't look full and I've had trouble getting reservations there in the past. And what did you think of the Rafter J Bar Ranch? I had that one picked for when we go to South Dakota. Sorry for the rambling and endless questions.

Here's some old pictures from Ft. Wilderness. We were camping in our Coleman Pop Up which we absolutely loved. I can't remember what year this was, but looking at my kids I think it might have been 1985 or 1986.

Going to the Fort will be our big trip this year, despite the price of diesel. We figure we don't have too many years left with our grandkids where they will still think we're fun so we don't want to miss out on anything. But, we are not bringing our tow car or our golf cart. We don't need extra transportation while we are at the fort and we can rent a golf cart (off site) cheaper than hauling everything with us.
