I was thinking they might be looking for a spot to unload from a pick-up truck possibly without ramps, so like a loading dock like Grumpy mentioned the pile of dirt. 😕
I thought that also, if you drive towards the 2000 loop you could find a ditch that might work if you have a 4x4.

I've always used the hitch & unhitch area on the way in on the right, before the 4-way stop.
Same here, I have also used the overflow lot.

I didn't notice it when we were there, but looks like we were there at the same time.

I couldn't believe they put all that out right after we left.

They may be banned but i saw more then I could count zipping around, which I am ok with. I don't have a problem with e bikes.

The fact that they still had sites available for the 4th tells you a bunch. The still had sites available with the whole 2100 loop closed. When I stayed there last week in the 2000 loop, barely half were occupied.
We were there June 22 through July 2. Couldn't believe how many empty sites.

I remember when they had a singing cowboy in there that played the guitar. We would set there and it pizza. It was great.

At least the settlement area isn't a eyesore, oh wait.....
Despite all that we were there a few weeks ago and with all that is missing we still had a good time but could have been better. I really miss the resort boats.

We were there at the end of January it was crazy busy, and there were so many rides broke down every day. But we still enjoyed it.

Congratulations on your daughter's job TCD

The price has gotten high. How about now you have to pay for a fast pass, which now it has a new name. If it wasn't for my kid I could be done based on price. But she loves Disney and we like it to, so for now I guess we keep paying. Everything has gotten so expensive now we went to a camp ground last weekend that we have been going to for 20 years and it's now $80.00 per night and there are zero amenities other then river access.
-
We were there in May and didn't smell anything other then pine trees, camp fires, and people doing there laundry.

What a intro to this report. Its never boring crossing the country with a rv. We've had our share of rv issues going to Disney. But the truck i just trade in when the warranty is gone. I've had a truck note for a little over 20 years now(that sounds horrible when you type it out,20 years!). Enjoying your report.

Can't believe its been 10 years.

We loved Runaway Railway,we rode it several times over our trip and we got stuck on Rise of the Resistance.

On Castle color we agree, I don't know how anyone really likes it. The dark grey looks nice, and the blue roof is really pretty, but that pink is just awful. My wife and daughter felt the same way and they like pink. Just not on the castle.

Well glad we went the first 2 weeks of December

Just saw this thread we were there from the 28th to the 11th. It was definitely cold several nights.

While I don't disagree.... I don't believe that this gentlemen knew the extent of the rules. Unlike some on this forum, he does not stock Disney or the Fort's activities/policies. He was invited to join some friends who have a rig. He would not have checked in, but rather gone through the gate. My friend is a retired professional and not one to purposely buck the system.
No, of course they make no sense, which is why I'm not sure (as I stated above) that he realized that the idiotic rule of covering your face applied to riding your bike.
I agree on the cart it should be a personal decision. We actually put our masks on tonight and drove our cart around to see how bad it will be at the Fort. I really didn't enjoy it because I felt like I was at work and I like drinking a diet coke when I drive around.

As people have previously posted here and on numerous FB groups, everyone knows the rules before they arrive, or at the very least when they check in. If they choose to ignore the rules and get reprimanded I have no sympathy for them.
Do the cart and exercising mask rules make sense? Maybe, maybe not but it’s Disney’s property and Disney’s rules and if you can’t abide, don’t go.
I agree keep your mask on or stay home rules are rules.

That will be nice when I get a 5g phone

Great, my daughter will be happy. She loves to swing when we go camping.
