  1. If anyone is at the Fort and has an extra computer monitor cable I need one for my movie projector tonight. Come by Little Bear 1454 or call me at 813-777-6566 We have the Tie Fighter cart for the parade and want to project the Star Wars movies tonight. Stan
  2. I have Halloween also, but I am already thinking of what to make my Golf Cart for that weekend.
  3. I am cancelling my reservation for a premium site at Fort Wilderness for the weekend of October 8. It is for 4 nights but can be reduced if needed. I get my reservations through AAA. Tonya Martini can change them to your name. call her at 941-798-2221 ext 2248 and she can make the change. First come first serve, I asked her not to cancel until Monday just to give people here a better chance. Stan Galewski
  4. Travisma and Gwen, thanks for posting photos. We were in the parade, but many people did not park after so we could walk the other carts. We were the Alladin float. In the past we did the Perry the Platypus float. Last time everyone parked and hung out for a while. This time it was parade and run.
  5. What carts and site won this year? What were the favorites? Any good photos or the parade?
  6. I found a great deal on a fw for my brother to join me at the Fort, but his silverado is close on the weight capacity. I had thought that adding a fw tow package would enable him to tow more weight. Any advice would be appreciated. The fw is a 27 foot Mako -- weighs about 7,000. The silverado is a 4 door with an 8 foot bed.
  7. My boys are 4 and 6 and we do different countries each trip. We go often.it takes time, but only if you want to do that country. My boys love when they can control part of the park. I would suggest trying it. Also it is a great way to keep the kids occupied while you walk around and see the rest of the world showcase.
  8. We will be there Thursday - with my 3 and 5 year old. Will post a site number when it is assigned. Look for our bounder and blue golf cart with the white stripe.
  9. Sorry to join late but the good thing about the light you returned is that it is hard to break. I have had mine for almost three years and it gets bumped around a lot. Must have made about 20 trips with them and they are still running strong. The bad side for me is that the bulb is just not as bright as some others.
  10. My 5 year old loves stitch. We never miss it. And we it will probably be one of first stops this weekend.
  11. Hollywood was packed yesterday so we came back early and played football and tag by the playground. After dark we took the golf cart for a few loops and went to the trading post for a new stitch stuffed animal and a cup of coffee. Today we are renting a boat and taking a tour of resorts and back routs with a Disney vp. Not sure the kids are excited about it but I am sure Vincent wil make it kid friendly.
  12. Turned out to be a great night. Hit every loup up to 1600 and made the campfire and movie. The baby (2) missed the last bit of the Brave but loved it until he fell asleep. The big guy (4) thought it was too scary and said he was ready to leave. He would stand up but would not move anywhere. They loved the fire and the kids running around. As soon as we parked a kid inn she next cart said he liked our wheels. The big guy walked over and acted like he new the kid forever. This really is a great social place for the kids. Either Hollywood or Animal kingdom tomorrow and the back for camp
