I would like to take the son on it and drag some adults along too. For the expense that it is, I would like to hear from someone who has done it to see if it is worth the price.

I have done all three. I think the phone is a PITA. I also think online is a PITA. I do like using a travel agent, but you have to find one that is dedicated to the fort and will constantly work with you to get the discounts. What are your thoughts? BTW, these are, of course, IMHO (that would be in my humble opinion)

You can also be a cheap Fiend like me and buy them for less than the 14.00 a piece on ebay. I did this for my whole family that stayed during Thanksgiving. Tents can be rented, like this one pictured, for $30 a night from Disney. You must call to reserve them and Disney will set them up and take them down for you. This is in addition to your site rental per night.

I have found that zip locks were not my friends when we had our popup (our first one). We had those rubbermaid tight fitting thingies. I would invest in them as you can afford them. With the humidity in FL, you will need them anyway. I am currently running an experiment in my classroom growing life cycles of darkwing beetles (mealworms) and I have not appreciated the extra wildlife that has shown up on my decomposing apples. They were SUPPOSED to be for the mealworms. :rofl2:

We learned the hard way last year that letting the camper sit (it is a diesel) instead of using it was a BAD idea. I will scrimp, save, put aside, do what I have to use it because I am not paying to fix it and be on the side of the road again like we were at Thanksgiving. Hell, we are even having to go to court. It is not worth it for all the hassle to let the camper sit. Selling it is not an option because I know I will NEVER, EVER, get the deal I have. We love our RV. I will go stay at that place Lorna picked out and stare at the sewer plant again. I don't care. I did splurge and pay

We are getting enough cards out and enough people now going to the fort often enough that if you are at the Fort, most likely you are going to know about the Fiends. I am definitely going to work on the signs this week to help everyone out. Remember, our Fiends are our best ambassadors!

No, they had to add one because they didn't get all the pieces up on the scheduled launch dates. The Obama administration had to approve the extra launch last year. I sure am going to miss watching them. There is one particular one I will never, ever forget, however, I try to keep that locked away. :parrot:
