  1. My favorite CM is the one that is pouring my beer. This was my favorite CM at the time I snapped this pic. About 20 minutes later, I had a new favorite CM in England. :rofl2:
  2. Riding a pony at the Tri-Circle-D Farm at the Fort is one of our favorite activities. My DD5 rides once on every trip. Figured I'd put some pictures and information out there from our most recent visit to the Fort for those that are interested in this activity...one of the "simple pleasures" at the Fort. Keep in mind, this information is only current as of late 2010/ early 2011. Per information that has been widely reported by everyone but Disney itself, there are plans to move the barns, including the pony rides, from their location in the Settlement area of the Fort out to a "to be con
  3. We did the HDDR when my youngest was 1. And 3. And 4....well, you get the idea. We LOVE the HDDR and have gone several times. And she has loved it every time...even at 1 year old. There is so much to watch and listen to. And she has always been a rib fan. Here she is on her first visit at about 14 months old. She enjoyed herself...although in this pic she doesn't look too enthused. And here she is shortly after her 3rd birthday. She had an awesome time! So, yes, I say take your 3 year old and have a great time! :parrot:
  4. This is our old lady, Daisy. Yes, someone thought it would be funny to torment her with a piece of cereal. I put a stop to that. And here she is ready to go camping several years ago. She LOVES when the RV pulls up into the driveway. And this is Mollie. She is attached at the hip to my DD15.
  5. And why?? Personally, I love Thanksgiving at the Fort. The smells of all that food cooking at campsites, the Christmas decorations, the weather is awesome....it's my favorite!
  6. We've played Bingo several times and enjoyed it...although sometimes there aren't enough people for it to be fun. Your chances of winning go WAY up when there are only two families playing, but it's not that fun. This isn't really an activity per se, but we love renting a couple of canoes and paddling around the canals.
  7. Yay!!! We've rescued another from complete boredom!!!
  8. We love the 50's Prime time at DHS. Good food and lots of fun. Be sure to get the peanut butter and jelly milkshakes. Kona Cafe is good at the Poly. Of course, I do enjoy me some O'hana! Yak and Yeti as stated before. Sounds like you already are onto Rose and Crown. We also like Via Napoli if they take credits. There are SO many restaurants we like to try there. And try to get HDDR tickets. Have fun!
  9. Glad you are here!!! Post and enjoy!
  10. Personally, if I was only sure of using a pup for the Disney trip because of your work schedules, I would rent one in FL for the vacation and hold off on buying until such time as you are sure you would get use out of it. If you buy one and it isn't used much, it will sit there staring at you making you feel guilty for not using it. I don't have an opinion on the boat. You do live by a lake, so it seems that would get used more than a camper, especially with you working at the marina. Would Dave use it on weekends when you are working? That might help answer that one.
  11. I wonder if anyone tries to stay at every hotel on this list? :golfclap:
  12. were talking about awnings, correct? I really would hate to see "it" get wind burned. I keep mine out all the time too, but I sometimes have to tie it down. It really gets a flappin' when the wind picks up.
  13. Never stayed at the Poly, but it's one of my favorites to "resort hop" to. Love eating there, walking around the grounds and taking the monorail over to the MK.
  14. We couldn't turn the deal down. The previous owners used it locally and put a whopping 3100 miles on it, and they bought it with just about every option available, right down to the satellite antenna, washer/dryer, and vacuum system. Here is an album of pictures: http://s264.photobucket.com/albums/ii184/jcjrsmith/Tiffin%20Allegro%20Bay/ fVery nice!! :rofl2: Tiffin makes a GREAT motorhome. Hope you get a ton of enjoyment out of it.
  15. We go 1-2 times per year over the last 4 years. It's about 720 miles for us. All trips since 2006 have been Fort trips except our last one, in which we rented an off-site house.
  16. Looks like you just did! I love food pictures of kitties and have lots of pics to share...but am posting on my phone so will have to post some later from the computer. Anyone else got some?
  17. Gotta get a Moosehead in Canada. Bass in England. Love to grab a good beer in Germany. I also enjoying drinking my own beer at the Fort...even on the porch at TE. I'll bring my own in a refillable cup! :)
  18. Awesome to have a member from the UK here! Welcome!!
