  1. I really hope you're right - this has been under construction since this past October. And we're arriving 10/22
  2. Nah, I'm just a geek with a big list of Disney-related site bookmarks that spends her evenings relaxing on the couch with a laptop. ...with DH doing this next to me
  3. Little Lilly the gorilla turns 1 tomorrow! We got to see her in November. We watched her and her mom and dad Kashata and Gino for at least 30 minutes and took loads of pics (please excuse my lame telephoto)... The Disney Parks blog has a writeup on her first year at http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2011/02/first-birthday-for-a-special-gorilla-at-disneys-animal-kingdom/
  4. I can ride the craziest roller coaster (the new one at Universal is C-R-A-Z-Y) but virtual reality rides... ...and teacups?? :barf:
  5. I just happen to know the person who started that thread... Maybe I can convince her to dig out those pics one more time... Whatdya say, Kim??? :yay: Please!? Please!? Please!? :barf: :bravo:
  6. Ah..... The Best Thread of 2010! Wish there was a way we could retrieve that one from the abyss.
  7. Great pics!! I especially love this one. You don't see a lot of pics taken down Main St. this way...
  8. Whipperwill's fabulous duct tape pirate ship from Halloween 2009
  9. When we were shopping for a new TT Brady put in a request for a chair of his own. We got him 2...
  10. So... a couple of years later - 1974. That's DH in the stroller and with his Dad on the Indy cars.... Anyone remember what/where "Troubadour Tavern" was? Fort Wilderness Railroad!!
  11. Mmmm Roaring Forks has super sammies. And they're HUGE. We almost always take at least a half a sandwich back with us. And we're hardly "dainty" eaters. :)
  12. This sounds remarkably similar to people that were on the 300 loop in November. Here's the canal dog walk... Similar setup - 3 sites, all the tables and cooking stuff in the middle. There were no less than a dozen coolers stacked up and this setup out in the grass was there for more than a few days. I walked Brady out there every day, and believe me, it was tempting to have him christen their cornhole game...
  13. This was posted to WDW Magic today... Link to the new menu... http://www.wdwmagic.com/Dining/Via-Napoli/Menus/16Feb2011-Via-Napoli-menu.htm
  14. Terrific thread!! Any chance the first photo was the old Circus World in Orlando, which I *think* was actually run by Ringling? We went there in 1979. It had one of the first loop coasters, that was literally a loop and that's it, then you went backwards. I think I rode the thing about 35 times in one day. IIRC it was replaced by (or near) Boardwalk and Baseball... which then became something else.
  15. Love this site. I subscribe to their weekly updates and get an email with that week's rundown. :rofl2:
