  1. So we are going to WDW for Spring Break (please hold all laughter until the end). I did read some great trip reports here so I am ready to take on the challenge. Here is my question.. We will be eating breakfast in the camper everyday. My DH likes to eat out alot when we go so we usually have alot of Table Service ADR's booked. We were going to try and just do quick service this time but worrying about crowds and getting tables, etc. Can anyone give me a perspective on trying to eat quick service over a MAJORLY crowded week like Spring Break?
  2. When you stay at a full hookup site, do they give you a digital converter box for inside the rv or do you just hook up the wire?
  3. OK. I may be opening myself up to ridicule here but we are actually staying in a hotel that night in Santee. Just going to park on the site (after we made sure that was ok). We used to stay there all the time on the way down and just wanted to do that again.
  4. I guess I should have started my post with "Now that I have your attention...." LOL
  5. This is great. :) I kept telling him people do it all the time but needed some backup. :) Thank you!!
  6. We are so excited for our upcoming trip to WDW in April because, well, #1 its Disney, and #2 because it will be the first time pulling and staying at Fort Wilderness in our own RV. My DH is a little apprehensive about taking it so far. (We will be traveliing from NJ). We plan to stop in Santee the first night and then head on to WDW the second day. Anyway, how long is the longest you guys have traveled with yours? I want to convince DH that it will eb ok. :)
  7. I look forward to reading the reports and looking at the pictures tonight when I get home. And I am looking so very forward to the crowds. But hey, I'll be in Disney so its all good. :)
  8. So this April will be the first time we spend Easter (or any holiday for that matter) in WDW and at Fort Wilderness. Does anything special go on that day? My kids will be 11 and 15 so no need for a picture with the Easter Bunny but just wondered if there is anything a little extra special. TIA!
  9. That is a beautiful trailer! Wishing you many fun memories with it!
  10. Thank you! I have been lurking a bit and have enjoyed all of the advice, opinions, and snark I have been reading. :)
  11. Hi! So excited to be here. :) We have made the decision to bring our RV to Fort Wilderness for the first time. I stayed there as a kid many times but our RV is new and we haven't camped in WDW in a long time. My first question of probably many is how far is the 500 loop from Pioneer Hall and the boat launch, etc. I can see it on the map but not sure if it would help to have bikes or even a cart. Thanks in advance!! Jen
