  1. We will be there, but I don't know if I can bring myself to go into MK for it.
  2. I won't ever regret spending time, and subsequently money, with the family camping. You can't buy that time back at the end of your life. But you can definitely spend time and way less money going to other places. I can see us taking a lot more weekend trips in the future, and that is fine with me. I am wanting more trips to the mountains anyway. We are to the point now where the kids always want to take friends. That is one of the reasons that we bought a bigger camper. As a family of 5 we are tapped out on seats in the truck. So that means if friends go we take 2 vehicles. Taking 2 vehi
  3. It is hard to wrap your head around. In the past 2 weeks I have paid for 4 nights at Noccalula Falls CG, 3 nights at Live Oak Landing outside of Destin, 3 nights at Defeated Creek, and 1 night at Rainbow Springs State Park near Ocala. All of that was a grand total of roughly $375.
  4. Have cart....will travel...from the undesirable outer realm loops.
  5. We have been so many times in the last few years that a park day now for us is a couple hrs in the morning and maybe a few in the afternoon. On our last trip we barely did that. The crowds and wait times just don't do it for me. We hit some FP's then roll out. I told my wife on our last trip that I would not care if we did not even go to a park. Of course, the kids don't feel the same way. I really enjoy Fort time and visiting the resorts and DS. These price increases are really getting out of hand. A $225 increase in 1 year is outrageous. I think the Disney bean counters are just throwin
  6. That's going to be a "that's a no from me, dog" for well north of $200 pricing. I love FW, but I don't love it $250 per night worth.
  7. We like the 900 loop but I won't be paying extra to stay there. Something tells me that premium sites will be a lot easier to book, though
  8. Me too. Thats my #1 fear. My old KZ was solid as a rock. If i paid this much for a bunch of problems I am going to be super pissed lol
  9. Thanks y'all. We're doing our first real camping in it now. We're at our local park doing a shakedown run.
  10. Thanks for all of the compliments. It's been a long road and a lot of sweat, blood, and plasma cutting in the making lol
  11. If I'm not careful I'll run over a few curbs Can't wait to do some Fort camping in the new rig.
  12. My wife made one that has a golf cart on it and the words "loopin' life" lol
  13. Whatever they are doing isn't working well. And whoever administers their test and license should be fired.
  14. Just search swift driver on youtube and watch the carnage. A lot of these new guys can't drive, back, or maneuver worth a crap. There's no way the test is hard now if guys can pass it and then pull idiot moves like that in the real world.
  15. Judging by some of the Swift drivers and other fools I see on the road a CDL is no longer hard to get or a deciding factor on how you can drive or handle a long trailer.
  16. Good thread hijack! I usually set my cruise at 70 on the interstate if traffic, weather, and road conditions allow. I will occasionally hit 75 passing people. On 2 lane roads i will pretty much stick to 60 as a max. With the 450 I can hardly tell I am pulling anything.
  17. I was just about to pass an 18 wheeler on Monday when the right rear of his trailer blew out. It sounded like a bomb. I felt the concussion through the wheel and pedals in my truck. We narrowly avoided being hit by the rubber chunks.
  18. Unless you just want a small truck I don't see how you could go wrong with a F150 ecoboost for towing. I know a few guys with them, and they all love the engine.
