  1. I'm new here so I don't know how to make those cute rolling on the ground smiley face thingies so just pretend that is here *
  2. My daughter and I had one of those fast pauses in the boat on splash mountain last year. They kept saying over the speakers to stay in the boat that we would be moving momenteraly, it was about 20 minutes later we started moving. Just glad it didn't break as we were heading down the big drop. Still can't get that song out of my head.
  3. we have been debating using kool aid to color her feathers like my friends teen daughter did with her hair. We will be selling the house and moving into the rv full time next year, she has become a part of the family and the idea of having to re-home her is making us look for ways we could keep her while living at state parks and campgrounds.
  4. we are pretty laid back so as long as what you are smoking is legal we are fine with it.Don't have much experience with horses but I do have a very sweet chicken that will follow me anywhere.
  5. We have been unable to get a site for this Halloween so I was wondering if there is anyone planning to tent camp that would be willing to split their site with us for a couple of nights over Halloween? We still have all of our tent gear so if you're flying in, we could lend you tent, chairs, air mattress so you wont need to rent or try to fit in your luggage. I know this is a long shot but hey, anything to get to the fort for trick or treating. there are3 of us and I know 10 are allowed per site.
  6. I have heard great things about this park, it is on our list of places to visit.
  7. Wow that stinks. I grew up in New York, every time we went camping we left NY to camp. Where did you camp that was worth driving to NY? I still have family there and we will be taking an extended trip up that way next year, would love to know how your trip was other than the theft.
  8. I hope this is true, we arrive one month from today and DD ( was devastated when she found out that it was just for the summer months and she was going to miss it. We were at epcot in May and the line to meet Anna and Elsa was over 3 hours long and it was raining at the time. Child was upset to say the least but no way were we standing 3 hours in the rain to meet them.
  9. All caught up, looking forward to hearing more. Funny, we too recently found a harley 3 wheel, ours is a 1969 and about the same color you painted your cabinets. Looks great on your cabinets, not so much on our cart. I am hoping the florida rains will hold off enough soon so that I can repaint it before we take it on its first trip to the fort next month. Hope your renovations are moving along smoothly and you will have lots to report real soon.
  10. Thanks for sharing your experience on the monorail, When I heard about people being evacuated through the roof my fear of heights was telling me not to ride it again but, I think my daughter likes the monorail more than some of the park rides.
  11. We had the same concerns, we have a 1998 Winnebago Brave (35ft class A gas) come next year we plan to sell the house and move in full-time. Hubby really had his heart set on a golf cart and we will need a car with us. After seeing the cost of tandem dollies I thought we were out of luck but I still checked craigslist every so often. Well a few weeks ago up pops a tandem for not much more than a car dolly. the thing only weighs 740 lbs so with a small car and a GC we fall well within our limits for towing. The tow dolly was set up to hall a motorcycle but that turned out to work fine, a
