Doesn't quite roll off the tongue like "it all started with a mouse".

That's actually a photo of MS USA taken during a Halloween party. I'm going to change the banners to a July 4th theme seeing that a lot of flags are waving. I'll be doing it in segments, and I take pr

Beautiful.

I know right where you can hang this project when it's done.

So does Lou. Where ever Gail tells him to. .

My house?

Let me ponder that for about 10 milliseconds.........................uhh, no.

I am holding out a slim hope that Gail tells him to hang it in my DD's room.

Slim is right, but I'll do a Cel painting of her favorite character, Cinderella, and have it ready for her on her next visit to WDW.

Lou, are you painting this on paper or masonite?  I can't imagine that much detail (and such straight lines) on canvas.

Good observation and question, Gwen

I'm doing it on a 1/2 thick foam board with a top paper layer.

As for straight lines, right now, and I mean right now, I'm doing the front of the Emporium which has all those columns. They have to be straight and parallel to each other. The decades of mechanical drawing comes in handy for this.

Indeed!  My (relatively few) years of drafting comes very much in handy in some of my design work too.  :)

Time for an update.

This is the lower portion of Emporium building.

It's been a tedious, painstaking, time consuming, section. Once completed it means that most of the left side of Main St. will be done, then it's on to the even busier right side.

What did I take on? I think I'm actually ahead of the 6 month completion estimate.
