The Tokelau Longhouse is set to reopen on Wednesday, July 1, making it the final longhouse opening in conjunction with the Disney Vacation Club expansion that included the rehab of many areas of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

The name of this longhouse comes from Tokelau, a territory of New Zealand located in the South Pacific. The influence of sharks is noticeable throughout the longhouse since Tokelau was officially declared a shark sanctuary in 2011.
