Disney Dream Sale this Fall

Recommended Posts

One of our banner adds showed a sale on the Dream for this fall.

I actually clicked and priced an October 4 night Dream cruise for early October. I didn't go all the way through, but it looks like and extended balcony room (probably on the rear of the ship from the description) was less than our cabin back in 2011 by about $100.

That's a pretty good discount considering how the rates have gone up the last few years.

I was poking around on the disney website and on travelocity and it looks like there are a ton of staterooms still available.  The odd thing is that Travelocity shows that alomsot all of the Conceconciegerge rooms are available while the disney website shows none are available.

Travel companies such as Travelocity, Orbitz, and other travel providers purchase "options" on hotel rooms, cruises, tours, etc.  They have a certain date to have their own clients book them, then they lose their options and they go back into the source inventory.
