Just the lingo used when an equipment operator tries and tries to get out of a situation like that and makes it worse.

 

Reminds me of the time our rented MH blew a tire on 95 in NC.  First tow truck came and was too small. 2nd tow truck got stuck in the sand on the shoulder.  3rd truck came to pull out the 2nd truck and finally change the tire.

 

Running family joke since has been "how many tow trucks does it take to change a tire in NC?"
