Best loop for large 5th wheel

Recommended Posts

The truck and trailer weighs in at 28700 . The f350 pulls it with no problems. It has fords diesel with the engine brake. I can set cruise at 65 and holds there up or down hills. Took it over Mt. Eagle 40 mph all the way and heating problems. My wife drives it also..But only forward lol

That's a good weight for that size rig. I'm at 24-26k combined depending on cargo and water. I'm wanting a new 6.7 in a bad way.

Well we made it in with all ur help .thanks. we ended up in loop 1116. Kind of short but was real easy getting parked but had to shove the rear deck in the bushes to make rm for the truck. I guess when u tell them 53ft wth 3ft deck they just dont belive u lol . The drive in the loop was real tight. Haven't taken to much time to write but all the grandkids r tired.. lol i wont let them know i am too. Have 7 grandkids and 3 sons here now. Leaving on the 8th but back dec 1 till jan 3 then back again mar 7..13 with the other 4 grandkids. We have dvc and they stay there and some of us camp. Having a great time and hope to meet some camping folks on r nxt trip. Thanks again

6.7 is great. I had the 7.3 then the 6.0 which is junk as soon as it hit 100,000 I traded it in. Have 113,000 on 6.7 and not a problem. Strongest truck i haver ever owed

Same here. Only difference my 6.7 only has 26,000 miles on it and over 10,000 of them are driving back and forth to Disney World.

I am new here and excited to find so much information in 1 place. We have been camping many times but i am worried about parking my trailer. Its 53ft 56ft wth back deck and 7 slide outs.I can drive and back up wth no problem but have seen some small loops any advice on which loop would be best. We have pets also. Will be there dec 1..8 and dec1 ..jan3 thanks

LOL, I didn't realize you were gone! We went looking last night for your setup. Your site was unoccupied. :)

In fact, many were all over. I was a little surprised at how empty a couple of the loops were.
