This is coming to Disneyland and, price aside, sounds pretty fun!  I wonder if it'll make an appearance at WDW?  Seems like it could work, especially once the new Jungle Cruise themed restaurant opens at Magic Kingdom...

Jungle Cruise Sunrise Safari Breakfast Coming to Disneyland for a Limited Time
7 September 2015

Fans of Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise can now make reservations for a limited-time Sunrise Safari Breakfast on the iconic attraction.

The breakfast will be served on the African veldt of the attraction and will include pastries, scones, eggs, fruit, parfaits, sausage, potato and onion hash, pork belly bacon, and beverages.

After breakfast guests will have a chance to try out their skipper skills behind the wheel of a Jungle Cruise boat and will be initiated into the Fraternal League of Secret Skippers. All guests will also receive a tribal mask keepsake.

The price for this sunrise breakfast is $300 per person and does not include admission to Disneyland park. Guests will be escorted out of the park after the event but can re-enter after opening if they have a ticket.

Reservations can be made at the Disneyland website.

This was announced on the Disney Parks Blog last Friday, September 4. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2015/09/jungle-cruise-sunrise-safari-breakfast-coming-to-disneyland-park/

There are a lot of negative comments posted about it, and a pretty lively discussion on the topic of how Disney is now creating events that are too expensive for regular guests.

It seems like it's selling well.

One funny aside . . . I sent a link of this to Twin #1, who just began working as a Jungle Cruise skipper in Disneyland.  She had not heard a word about this.  They must be using other CM's for this pre-park opening event.

Well, just add the Safari Breakfast to this...

For years, on six continents, Adventures by Disney has been offering families behind-the-scenes access to sights and local attractions on Disney-guided vacation tours. But New York City wasn’t on the menu – until this year. For the first time, Adventures by Disney has been providing whirlwind, four-day group tours of Manhattan on select weekends from May through October.

Starting at $2,600/adult and $2,500/child (12 and under), these guided New York City weekends aren’t cheap, but they provide seamless door-to-door travel experience, two Disney guides offering exceptional service and a few Disney perks along the way.

The new FerryTale Wishes

The Poly Bungalows

The new Disney Springs Boathouse

And it does seem like Disney is catering to the 1% crowd.

I mean $300 for a breakfast and $99 for deserts is just plain crazy.
